This place is a nightmare! The sales staff act like they care until they get your loved one hooked and then the staff at Whitney Oaks completely ignore's them. The first night my mom was there my cousin saw an old man in the hallway so desperate to get into the locked bathroom that he just dropped his pants in the hallway. When they found him, instead of letting him go to the bathroom they put him back in his room. I should have taken that as warning. My grandmother stayed here for a little under a week. We had to get her out as soon as possible because this place was so awful. They do not control the temperature and she was roasting the entire stay. They also allowed her roommate full dictation of the TV, so my grandmother was not able to watch a single program. Flies everywhere and slow help. Only plus is good physical therapy compared to other nursing homes we have dealt with.
