The nursing care overall was very good. Mai, Jackie, Debbie, Henry, Patrice, Harvey, Brandi, Olga took very good care of all of my needs throughout my stay. A 5+ nursing staff.! Physical therapy was very good. Jennifer, Steven, Deanne, Katrina were all very helpful in my recovery. Celeste, and Nikki in activities were very good. Zeb in social services was very helpful! Joe, Cynthia, Ivan were all so good and helpful. I would recommend Whitney Oaks too others for a skilled nursing facility. Brenda H.

This place has an excellent, knowledgeable, and caring nursing staff. The therapy dept is second to none. I would definitely recommend this facility.

The entire nursing staff from all of the CNA's , nursing supervisors to ADON's on the 500 hall were excellent in my care. ZNikki, Carmen, and Henry, Jatu, Elaina. The entire PT staff was superbly excellent! Steven, James, Melissa were all phenomenal in my rehabilitation. The OT personnel was excellent as well. The activities personnel took my mind off my frustrations they were excellent. Celeste was especially helpful.Zeb was extremely helpful in social services. The RNA staff was extremely helpful! My 85 year old Mother came here in July to recuperate after a one week stay in the emergency room at Sutter Memorial Hospital. She went to the ER for kidney failure as a result of a medication related issue. I also do not understand some of the other negative comments because my Mom received excellent round the clock care and physical therapy to get her back on her feet again. She bounced back to her normal self in about a week and was discharged from Whitney Oaks well enough to return to her regular board and care home. ... read more

Everyone at Whitney oaks is very kind and professional, they treat everyone there with loving care. The facility itself is also very nice, it's clean and well kept. Would highly recommend it!

This is a great facility!! I am a volunteer here and I love volunteering here, all of the staff and patients here are really really nice to everyone. The nurses always pay attention to the patients, and i never see the nurses not paying attention to the patients. Whitney Oaks also has an awesome schedule, they always have events for the patients so that they dont feel like theyre at a rehab place, they make it FUN here! My 67 year old mother has been at Whitney Oaks for two months. Unfortunately it has been determined that she will require long term skilled nursing. While this has been a very difficult adjustment, the staff at Whitney Oaks has been outstanding and I am grateful every single day for the care she is receiving. I am disappointed to see the negative reviews as I visit the facility often and have never witnessed anything but friendly staff and compassionate care.
