I liked the rooms there but in order to get to meals they had to walk outside, it was covered but even though it's Florida we do have some inclimate weather. The rooms were very nice and they all had screened in patios and were a good size with a full kitchen.

They have two types of living, she is in the independent living, but they also have a full assisted living section. She gets three meals and plenty of snacks, as much as she wants. She doesn't have a nurse or anything like that, but if is something happens she can pull a string and someone will come. She plays cards, arts and crafts, and she's always telling me that she is happy!

It felt more homey and less like a hotel or apartment building. It had some grass and patios and porches. It is older so it is laid out more single story with porches rather than apartments with balconies.

We liked this Community, Wyndham Lakes. The staff were friendly, informed and genuine. We especially liked the educational seminar on Aid and Assistance for Veterans. We found the Facilities neat and clean. The Residents seemed active and satisfied. There was a large main dining area and a smaller one in the Assisted Living wing, with a varied menu. We liked the lanscaping and outdoor walkways. The room and board prices seemed reasonable for the Community. However we found the rooms a bit small and dated but in good repair. ... read more

I think the physical therapy went above and beyond. The did more than they had to and were very attentive. My mother likes it here. She doesn't do a lot of the activites but they try to keep them busy.

Facility very nice. All residents were well groomed and happy. Everyone I saw had a smile and Lori seemed to know everyone by name which impressed me. The studio apartment was very small - if dad wanted to watch TV had to sit on bed. The one bedroom was fine. All rooms have a screened porch which is a nice added benefit. Staff all seemed friendly and interacted well with the residents. The grounds were very nicely taken care of with lots of open space.

The administration staff was friendly and nice. But I felt like I was being sold a car. The facility is old and rundown. Furniture is old and tattered rooms are very small with two people in them. I was interested in the memory care facility and it was ridiculous. It needs a lot of improvements. It’s a real shame because the campus is big and could be very nice. They charge the same amount as some of the nicer places. The common area as you walk in is nice with the restaurant and dining hall, but the rest of it is terrible. ... read more

Beware the Vendors who arrive in, uninvited to assess the new resident. Particularly the Optical people! They visited[Name Removed]within 24 hours of his arrival, then again the following week, & had another appointment set up for 3-4 weeks time. He had cataract surgery in both eyes in SC only 15 & 12 months prior to his move to FL. They charged him over [Amount Removed]for his first visit, another couple of hundred $ for his second visit & God only knows what his 3rd visit was going to be!
