Get directionsI found this facility to be dirty. The floors are covered in fecal matter from the Canadian geese that are throughout the facility's campus. The claims regarding food and dining options are false. The staffing on 2nd and 3rd shifts can only be described as thin at best. The activities offered to the residents are minimal and low energy. I would rather be homeless than ever return there.
Business response:
We apologize that this has been your experience with us. We have reached out to the Department of Fish and Wildlife for assistance with the Canadian geese. Unfortunately, as a protected species, we are all limited as to what actions we can take. Our maintenance and executive teams are out daily to clean up the campus. We have a variety of activities, available on our website, for both our Memory Care and Assisted living communities to keep everyone engaged and active.
The tour was very positive, all questions were answered thoroughly, our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. We would recommend that they not show potential residents apartments that have not been cleaned . It would have been better to ask us to come back when they had one available , to help give a positive first impression.
Business response:
Thank you for your kind comments about our staff and your tour! We apologize that the model unit showed was not up to standard, as we always hope to make the best first impression possible. We would appreciate another opportunity to make this right, but if you have moved on, then we wish you the best of luck.
Not happy with nursing staff and getting my meds from pharmacy. Took them 7 days to hook up TV. The food isn't so good. Plus, they want you in dining hall by 7:30am and don't serve till 8:15, if we're lucky. So, after moving from Villages of Bellevue to here, it's been a hassle. Oh, no Wi-Fi except in office. Had to purchase for my room. If I didn't want to see my daughter more often I would have stayed there. So much nicer.
Business response:
We recognize that the move to a new facility is not easy and that the transition could have been smoother. We have worked with the pharmacy to get this resolved due to the transition and we can confirm that our team connected the television as soon as it arrived at the facility. The care and happiness of our residents and loved ones is our top priority. We would appreciate the opportunity to sit down and discuss your concerns, so please stop by the front desk.
When they took me to the model, it was nice. It was clean. There was no foul smell. The building that my mom and her husband are in is the most foul smelling of urine and I have already complained about that but nothing has been done.
Business response:
We sincerely apologize if we have not met your expectations, our aim is to provide the best customer service possible and that includes the health and safety of our residents. We will research this matter immediately and someone will get back in touch with you.
The room my parent was in had a refrigerator that was filthy in and around the outside....something had spilled and been sitting for who knows how long. When brought to the center's attention they said it would be cleaned. They never cleaned it....I had to in order to put things in the refrigerator. My parent was in the memory care unit on lock down patients are able to roam freely with no supervision at times. They go into others rooms and make themselves at home and take what they want and sometimes nothing is done about it... read more
The roof leaked in my apt forcing me to move out early. There were other things that needed attention but was never acted on just discussed. They did allow me out of the one year agreement however kept my deposit. I didn't really care about losing the money as I was happy to live somewhere that I enjoyed and didn't have to put up with the problems I was having. I really don't think the people in charge were responsible for the lack of attention to needs of their tenants I believe it was the owner. There was a couple of peopl... read more

We appreciate all feedback and though we did not fully meet your expectations, we thank you for your kind words about our staff.
The staff is wonderful, caring, and so friendly. The food is horrible, barely edible. New chef? Season it? Dont burn it? Less mushy? Chill out in the onion overkill....onion in egg salad? I have yet to see a recipe with onion. Pickle yes, not onion...but the star of the show should be the eggs!!! There is more onion in the chicken salad than chicken. Try roasting a veg, instead of boiling absolutely everything. I could go on. Activities could be more inclusive of the assisted living residence. They could do more to gather th... read more

We apologize that this took us a bit to respond directly to your review. First, thank you very much for your compliments about our staff, they are hardworking and deserve the praise they receive. We will definitely follow up with the Dining Director to find out what is happening with the food service. Our company prides itself in serving food that is both healthy and delicious.
It is not well maintained (e.g. downed lights, trash, animal droppings on the walkways) and many residents refuse to eat the poor quality food. I would absolutely not recommend Wyndham Lakes to anyone.
Business response:
We are always open to feedback and appreciate knowing any areas that can be improved. Though we must say that many people rate this community highly. That said, we will forward your comments to the landscape maintenance and dining services staff.
All of these categories get the lowest rating I can possibly give. I have been out of there since early Sept and still haven't heard anything from management about my departure or why. Terrible staff and place to live.
