I have been bringing my dogs here for 12 years and I won't go anywhere else. Dr. Long and his team are amazing. They show such care and empathy towards patients and their owners. I drive all the way from the city just to see Dr. Long because he's the only one I trust with my elderly dog. I feel like the pricing is honest and the service is next level. If you call the office for a refill it's taken care of right away by a very competent employee. I wouldn't and won't go anywhere else. The walk in option is partially helpful... read more

Our 6 year old, 140lb Rottweiler makes each and every visit to the vet memorable. He is always muzzled, always drugged, and always pinned down to the floor so the vet can examine him. It is never a pleasurable experience but that all changed yesterday when we took our big boy in to see Dr. Lobitz and her awesome staff (Erika is amazing). We've been going to Yorkville Animal Hospital for almost a decade and I've never had a complaint about them! The staff is always super friendly & even though you do not need an appointment they always get you in super quick!! They have always given my dog great care and now that I live in Yorkville the drive to get here is quicker and I am thankful to have such a nice, helpful place to bring my fur baby!

Niki my 9 year old cat has always needed sadate grooms in the past because she is a biter. This year she met Frank who must be a cat whisper. She not only looked adorable after being groomed but did not need any sedation. Everyone there is professional and friendly.

I took my dog here for the first time after moving and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly and competent staff, the vet was good to my dog during the examination, and my dog did not come back after her vaccinations and nail cutting stressed.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff. As a family that has had pets for decades, I can tell you that this is without a doubt the best Vet we've had. A Negative? = Those dog allergy pills are expensive. YAH here's to hoping you can help us out with that. Otherwise, I have only compliments to give. Have been great to both our adopted chubby beagle & muscle-bound pit Bull.

My little fur family has been so blessed to have Dr. Long. He is always thorough and accommodating. While a lot of veterinarians up-charge to make a quick buck, Dr. Long genuinely cares about the well-being of animals. There are other great doctors there too, and all of the staff is friendly and helpful. I live right next to two animal hospitals but drive to Yorkville because of the care Dr. Long gives my dogs. I have referred 4 friends and they all have been pleased with Yorkville Animal Hospital'a affordability and care.
