I believe that Yorkville Animal Hospital is the BEST Hospital for bringing your pets to. Why you ask? Staff is always friendly & cheerful, whether they themselves are having a bad day. One would never know it for they are smiling & happy!! They answer the phone quickly and respond quickly to all email's. My boyfriend and I brought our French bulldog puppy here for her first initial check visit not knowing what to expect. When we arrived, we were very impressed with the facility. It was very modern and clean, and it exceeded our expectations. The clinic doesn't take appointments so you just show up when you can during office hours. This hasn't been a problem for us yet, and I believe the longest we've ever waited was 15 minutes. Then again, we do go early on Saturday mornings. We got a new puppy about 6 weeks ago and also got a new vet. Yorkville Animal Hospital in Yorkviille IL. It is about a 20 minute drive for me but I do not mind it because it is country driving. One really unique thing about Yorkville Animal Hospital is that they do not take appointments for anything. Not even when we take her to be spayed. Had no problem with this vet, went here with my parents' dogs and now go here with my husky. She was spayed here and her surgery went very well. As for the comment that the animal hospital works with puppy mills, 3 months ago we got our Husky at the yorkville animal hospital through the jelly stone rescue group. Also my parents who did get their dog through a pet store took them here and when they discovered both dogs had kennel cough, the hospital made sure the pet store paid the bill. I have been extremely happy with my experience with Yorkville. Dr. Mirabella has been great. She spent quality time with me in the room when my dog was sick, hospitalized him, and he is now a happy dog again after leaving! I am so happy with the facility. When we lived in aurora, we always took our dogs to yorkville animal hospital for vet care and occasionally for baths. Always had outstanding service from dr. Long and dr. Fourez. We were happy with the way our dogs were treated, and the cost of services performed was always fair. Dr. Long performed surgery on our dog, nugget, when he had one of two intestinal blockages. (The first was at an emergency vet facility). Wish we had a vet that could compare to yorkville here in california.
My husband and I just took our 14 week old pup there. The staff was great! They answered all of our questions and instructed us on the best care for our little girl. I would definitely recommend going here!
Yorkville animal hospital has been consistent with quality service and affordable rates for the several years we've been going there. Convenient walk in hours for any service allows us to take good care if our fur baby when we need to. For the most part the staff is friendly and compassionate. We have seen an irritated front desk employee, but every doctor has been fantastic.
I was a little apprehensive bringing my dog here based on the negative reviews, but I had a recommendation of this place from my previous vet when I moved to Yorkville this summer so I decided to give them a shot. I've visited this animal hospital with my dog two times and both times found the staff to be kind, caring and compassionate. I will definitely use their services in the future.
