I have been extremely happy with my experience with Yorkville. Dr. Mirabella has been great. She spent quality time with me in the room when my dog was sick, hospitalized him, and he is now a happy dog again after leaving! I am so happy with the facility. Dr. Mirabella was great at communicating with me the whole time, the costs were very reasonable, and they helped my dog when he was sick. I love Yorkville Animal Hospital and so does my dog! The service is exceptional, the vets and staff are friendly and efficient! The Practice Manager is always on top of her game! Yorkville also puts on fun events for families and their pets- such as pics with Santa at Christmas time and the annual Pet Fest. We always take our dog there to be boarded in the doggie day care when we leave town, and he loves it! I highly recommend Yorkville Animal Hospital!
When we lived in aurora, we always took our dogs to yorkville animal hospital for vet care and occasionally for baths. Always had outstanding service from dr. Long and dr. Fourez. We were happy with the way our dogs were treated, and the cost of services performed was always fair. Dr. Long performed surgery on our dog, nugget, when he had one of two intestinal blockages. (The first was at an emergency vet facility). Wish we had a vet that could compare to yorkville here in california.
My husband and I just took our 14 week old pup there. The staff was great! They answered all of our questions and instructed us on the best care for our little girl. I would definitely recommend going here!
Yorkville animal hospital has been consistent with quality service and affordable rates for the several years we've been going there. Convenient walk in hours for any service allows us to take good care if our fur baby when we need to. For the most part the staff is friendly and compassionate. We have seen an irritated front desk employee, but every doctor has been fantastic.
I was a little apprehensive bringing my dog here based on the negative reviews, but I had a recommendation of this place from my previous vet when I moved to Yorkville this summer so I decided to give them a shot. I've visited this animal hospital with my dog two times and both times found the staff to be kind, caring and compassionate. I will definitely use their services in the future.
I am a little freaked out by the bad reviews on this place! I have an old little dog who has gone here a few times. They helped me figure out what was going on with a nasty re-occuring ear infection. All the vets we have seen here were very polite and professional. My parents take their dog here too. They have never had a problem. The reception staff seemed fine. Not overly polite or rude. We have been taking our two dogs to YAH for 4 years, since they were pups. Our dog had severe pneumonia when we brought him home and was taken to VCA for emergency treatment. After a week at VCA's 24 hour emergency care, or dog was actually in worse shape. We thought he was going to die. YAH took him for a week and nursed him back to a happy, healthy puppy. I wanted to share our experiences with Yorkville Animal Hospital. It saddens me to read these reviews as we have been with them well over two years now and we have never witnessed any of these types of activities that have been stated here. Our dog came from Petland and YAH followed through on everything as promised. In fact, I can think of a time or two when they have gone beyond to cuddle the dogs and greet the owners with enthusiasm.
