Quality product but with its flaws The media could not be loaded. If you read all of the reviews there is one major design flaw with this product. The bottom has a flap to empty water so when you lift the canister out of the water to dump the leaves you don’t need to pour water out it just drains from the bottom. In theory this is great. However when using it with your pool vaccum it constantly floats to the top and flips over no matter how many times you readjust it. 4.0 out of 5 stars Works well as long as kept submerged Connections are not air tight. If unit is not kept submerged, the pump will end up pulling in air, eventually causing a loss of suction. However, once full of water, it will remain submerged IF a long enough hose is attached between it and the intake. So, plan to buy an extra hose if you do not have one.

This connects just before the intake and now that the leaves are falling, this is the best buy I have done for my pool. Very easy to clean. My pool has been spotless and when I do my laps in the pool, it is easy to swim around or u... read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a leaf catcher that is easier to open! This does not require two people and a pair of large channel lock pliers to open. I has helped save our marriage. Happy wife, happy life!
