Does Not Move Installation was easy. Continues to suck powerfully. But DOES NOT MOVE. After the first couple days of moving all over the pool and up the walls (as expected), it quit moving all together. Now it just sits wherever I place it when I turn the filter on. Being behind 30 days of purchase, Amazon nor the company will do anything about it. Don’t waste your money!!! (Or if you do, start using it immediately. Don’t wait at all to install… like I did.)
Stopped working Bought it in March, first tried it in May when I opened the pool. The thing used to scare me because it was almost climbing out of the water, working the sides of the pool. A little over 3 months later, now the thing barely climbs the incline between the deep and shallow end. Waste of good money.
NOT FOR USE WITH VARIABLE SPEED POOL PUMP Paperwork with the MX6 says must adjust suction to 10 wheel rotations every 20-25 seconds. I did this with the pump at low speed. When pump ran at high speed, the MX6 would climb the pool wall until it caught air and lose suction. I reviewed all paperwork and nowhere does it say to calculate at the fast or slow speed. Clogs easily If you live anywhere near palm trees do not buy this. Just one palm leaf from a palm frond will wrap around the mechanism inside and stop everything. Each and every time. This thing is not meant for tropical places… at all. But if you live anywhere near pebbles and rocks do not buy this. If you have half inch rocks forget it. Anyone who owns a pool knows that tiny rocks can get vacuumed up into the filter basket no problem. Not with this thing. Zodiac MX6 It does not stay upright. The weight of the hoses impedes the proper function. I do not recommend.
Disappointed I thought this pool cleaner was going to help, but after 3 uses, it stopped working. So not sure what the next step is since i threw the box away.
Won't stay upright in the deeper water When it gets to the deeper water it wants to flip over.
Do not get this if you do not have a screened in pool. This Thank and get stuck on everything This thing get stuck on everything.
Just stopped! It was great when it worked! Only lasted 3 months then just stopped. Had to get Amazon involved to replace the manufacture didn't even respond at all. Kind of sad considering it wasn't cheap.
