didn't work The product looks nice but when added into the water would not move even when pressure was adjusted.
It just stops I have no debris in my pool, no large leaves, no rocks, nothing. This unit just seems to stop after a couple of minutes. I've taken it apart and there is not in any if the moving parts. I did notice wear marks on the flapper ball, or "motor" as they call it. I've tried to move the "fan blades" on the bottom and there's resistance. It eventually loosens up and the wheels start turning again. Once I put it in the pool it moves around for about 5 minutes and stops again.
Works well hoses are trash This vacuum works for general maintenance if you have a lot of leave or sand dont both this will clog quickly with leaves and sand will bring it to a complete standstill. My major problem with this is the hoses have to be replaced every year the start seperating and the replacements are not cheap. I do not recommend and will not buy again.
Didn't work in my pool Followed the instructions to the letter and watched a couple of videos on the product setup....but it did not work at all.....Wheels would not turn as mentioned in documentation.....even had a local pool guy come out to see if i was doing something wrong, but he couldn't figure it out either....all valves were set to the right place but it would not start and go.....glad it is working for others, but i returned mine.
No suction, no refund I bought this and returned it once. Then repurchased it because I figured I would give it the benefit of the doubt. That one did not work either and now I am still waiting for a return of my money 3 weeks later.
Horrible cleaner Stopped working after almost 3 months we are past the return window so now it's back and forth with manufactur. This isn't worth even 1 star. Don't waste your money. Unless you want a pool pump that goes in small circles.
Plan On Replacing Hoses Annually Have had this unit for just over a year and already all of the hoses have split. Had Hayward units in the past whose hoses lasted for years. Very poor quality and very expensive to replace the hoses. Unit will also easily get jammed with any real debris, i.e. numerous leaves, piece of mulch, etc...
This is garbage & vendor doesn't offer warantee Bought the Zodiac MX6 in April of this year and it already broke and does not provide any cleaning suction. When I checked on Amazon there was no guarantees offered on this item only a return option which stated that there is a 50% charge as restocking fee if returned by May. This is unacceptable for an item that cost $300+ Do not purchase this product! It is garbage!!
Don’t waste your time or money. It only worked twice and then never moved again. I followed the instructions. I messed with the control value. It would just sink to the bottom and not move.
