Zodiac Pool Systems says: Dear Amazon Customer, We're sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your MX6 pool cleaner. You are correct, the MX8 cleaner has two cyclonic turbines and the MX6 only has one. However, we have many customers who are happy with the performance of the MX6 cleaner just as much as those who own the MX8, so you should still be able to get good performance out of this cleaner! To address the wall climbing issue, you may need to adjust the flow to your cleaner. Please see the Test for Proper ... read more
does a nice job wish the hose was one piece it sucks ... does a nice job wish the hose was one piece it sucks in air if it floats to the surface
Does not work well I bought this cleaner last Sep. from local pool supply(Sale) after building a pool , and it has been nothing but an aggravation from the first use. It spends most of its time on its back. It will not climb a wall 90% of the time, and will not move hardly at all on low suction from VS pump( I have to run it at 2500-3000 rpm). The hose's if not stored just right get a bend in them that refuses to come out , which makes the machine work even worse, and the cleaner will not accept a normal pool cleaner hose so... read more
Not good. I have asked to return this and get another model. I have not heard back from the vendor, over 3 days now. It does not pick up well. Anything over a small leaf size gets clogged.
Waste of money does not work It does not clean very good waste of money
Horrible. This thing is horrible. You have to have the exact and I mean exact suction. 50 rpm on my pump to much and it tips on its back. 50 rpm too little and it doesn't move. Sound like once you figure out the correct rpm or suction valve positing it would be easy. It's not. It changes each time based on how clean/dirty your filter is. It takes me an hour to get this thing to run properly. Then you have to watch it the entire time. I just vacuum the thing myself.

That isn't something that we take lightly, and we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about it. First, we would like to offer you these resources to try to resolve the issue of your cleaner not moving after adjusting the rpm: * Confirm that the main drain is closed. * Backwash the filter and empty pump basket. * Check for any debris jammed in engine. Refer to section, "Remove Trapped Debris from Cleaner" in ma... read more
We have tried to adjust this pool cleaner many times ... We have tried to adjust this pool cleaner many times and it just stops working in our pool. I actually prefer my old Barracuda.
Doesn't last, don't buy! This stopped working after only 6 months!
Works well in my pool until it encounters the steps ... Works well in my pool until it encounters the steps. At that time the impeller makes contact with the steps and it stops. It will not continue until I pull it off the steps and reposition the unit. I contacted the seller and was advised to try a couple of fixes which did not work. He said that he had similar complaints in the past. I have returned it and will replace it with a completely different unit.
