The customer service and loan representatives think the money that you are paying is going in their pockets. The people on the other end of the phone want to belittle you and want you to go to your co-workers and ask for money if you are behind on your payments. They are not willing to listen and always talk over you when on the phone. They call and then they transfer you to a supervisor so you can talk to the supervisor who is no different than the representative that called you. I don' even know how I got 21st as my server. But it hasn't been a pleasant experience since dealing with them. The reps are rude and very unprofessional. They don't care about your problems, your family or you. I can pay my bill at the beginning of the month but i pay it on the last day. So its paid but not to them. I was to pay on the 31st of July but was in the ER for my asthma and could pay it til the next morning. There were two of them double teaming me Katlya and Mark, i think. Working with 21st Mortgage over the course of the past 5 years has not been a pleasant experience. The company preys on individuals with less than perfect credit and takes nothing into consideration. I have tried several things before such as refinancing, other arrangements, changing due dates, etc. I have spoken to supervisors who were rude and disrespectful only concerned with my payment. We never had any issues with 21st Mortgage until the day we called them to make a payment. I spoke with a female by the name of Margurite. She was extremely unprofessional by being rude to me. My husband and I felt threatened by her when all we were trying to do was make a payment. I definitely don't recommend this Mortgage company to anyone because she was a manager and for her to act in that manner and have that position is ubsurd to me. We are looking forward to re financing to get away from company.

2014: So I received a mortgage from this company, if you want to even call it that, and day one has been nothing but a fight. I was told i would receive my first bill until a month after i moved in. I wasn't even in the home a week that my first draft payment came out, as we set up to to the bi weekly payments. Not to mention the first payment was about 200 over what was discussed on my agreement. My balance keeps going up even after more than two years of payments. They also keep coming up with excuses to raise my monthly payment. Never was at the agreed amount.

I have had a mortgage with them since 2013 and it has been a constant fight with them ever since. It all started in Sept. 2013 when me and my wife miscarried a set of twins and my wife was sent to the OR and emergency DNC. We have commercial insurance and a copay was required for the procedure. I called 21st mortgage right away and told them what had happened and that I had to use 100 of my mortgage payment to cover this and I would have it the very next week. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They are beyond rude and unprofessional. They also make empty threats against clients that are late on payments, yet still within the month that it is due. I have never been spoken to with such disrespect as I was by Lori N. and Corey D. - who mind you, is supposed to be a manager. This is the WORST most HATEFUL company around, they train the employees to treat you like dirt, no matter what the situation they is everyone is human, and deserves to be treated with some level of respect and courtesy, these people treat you like dirt. I can not wait to pull out mortgage from them and get away from this company.
