Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Hurricane Michael destroys my home the day my payment was due. I call them to let them know that I was reaching out to insurance as a tree split my home in half and everything I owned is ruined. They tell me to just make sure I get that payment to them on time. Had to rent a place to stay to wait out insurance and they threaten me with foreclosure. My experience with 21th Mortgages has been pure ****. Amanda is our account agent or whatever her titled is. She is Loud , Rude , Demeaning and just Plain Obnoxious almost everytime I've interacted with her via phone . This has happened several times and I will NOT continue to tolerate her rude behavior. The way she speaks to her customers is far from respectful she has a very Aggressive and Demanding tone. Ive Never missed a payment though their no always on time things & situations happen. Most mortgage companies do not start calling every number on record for you when you are just a few days late. Yet 21st mortgage will call your home, your cell, and leave an e-mail if you are at work and can not answer. I have had 5 e-mails from 5 different people when I was only 2 weeks late. Not 2 months. Just 2 weeks. They are way to aggressive and will even become argumentative when you call in to make the payment.
Do not do business with this company. I made a payment 7 days early using the automated phone system and the payment did not clear do to i made a mistake and did not transfer the funds to my savings account, the payment hit my account withen hours of me submitting the payment. I called 21st as soon as my bank told me. 21st said it was impossible for the payment to hit that quick, but it was no problem they would go ahead and take a payment verbally over the phone. Terrible company. Very very unprofessional. They do not talk to you with respect. I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of rude people that work out of someone's basement. Run fast from this company if they approve you for a mortgage. Go somewhere else. They have no class or respect for their customers.
The customer service and loan representatives think the money that you are paying is going in their pockets. The people on the other end of the phone want to belittle you and want you to go to your co-workers and ask for money if you are behind on your payments. They are not willing to listen and always talk over you when on the phone. They call and then they transfer you to a supervisor so you can talk to the supervisor who is no different than the representative that called you. I don' even know how I got 21st as my server. But it hasn't been a pleasant experience since dealing with them. The reps are rude and very unprofessional. They don't care about your problems, your family or you. I can pay my bill at the beginning of the month but i pay it on the last day. So its paid but not to them. Working with 21st Mortgage over the course of the past 5 years has not been a pleasant experience. The company preys on individuals with less than perfect credit and takes nothing into consideration. I have tried several things before such as refinancing, other arrangements, changing due dates, etc. I have spoken to supervisors who were rude and disrespectful only concerned with my payment. We never had any issues with 21st Mortgage until the day we called them to make a payment. I spoke with a female by the name of Margurite. She was extremely unprofessional by being rude to me. My husband and I felt threatened by her when all we were trying to do was make a payment. I definitely don't recommend this Mortgage company to anyone because she was a manager and for her to act in that manner and have that position is ubsurd to me. We are looking forward to re financing to get away from company.
