I would give them 0 stars if i could. Absolutely terrible. Not helping at all with the pandemic or a death in the family due to it. Lost my mom and they are the bank she has. Offered NOTHING to help. They were listed as a bank that agreed to help with programs to assist and get back on your feet. They harass and haven't given us any solutions whatsoever or offered any programs.

This company is just evil. They have no intention of helping you during the pandemic. Condescending, belittling and shaming. All they want to do is get you on the phone and start an argument. I called to make a payment by phone and had to speak to Eric. I would have preferred to make the payment on the computer if they feel you are not up to date. 21 st has some very rude and unprofessional people in they organization. The fact that the company allows them to talk to their customers like they do is totally unprofessional and called for. We reach out to them to work things out and they talk to you in such a way. They need some retraining in the meaning of customer service.
Shocking arrogance, rudeness and condescending behavior from their customer service department and management. I have never experienced anything like this from a national company. Avoid at all costs if you can. I will never use this company again and will tell anyone who asks to stay far, far away from them.

All up until a few months before the pandemic my husband's business started suffering and we got behind one month but we were on time all before then. We caught up our account in February and then the pandemic put us flat on our backs again. These people, every single last one of them, have been completely rude and inconsiderate! Wow! I see I'm not the only one having issue with the way 21st deals with great customers. I've been a loyal on time customer since 2007. My hrs have since been cut do to our wonderful economy that's in distress. Called for assistance and was BELITTLED BEYOND BELIEF! My wife was in tears as Corey shared his opinion on our hardship. Horrible people to deal with. I had my mortgage debited from my account with no problem at first. My bank glitched and reject my payment one month. I ended up switching banks and got everything set up with 21st Mortgage with my new bank. Even have the letter from them saying everything was good to go. But now they wont debit my account and wont let me pay online. During the hard hit economy due to the virus taking over our world today I was laid off from my Job and I am having trouble filing for unemployment I asked for a payment deferral and was told they don't do that they told me I needed to go to a church and borrow the money to make my payment this is unacceptable this is a money hungry bank that does not care about anyone but themselves at this time I think our government should step in and make examples out of these banks that treat people this way. They sent back a payment then charged me late fees even though I had sufficient funds. When I tried to pay it again online as I have been for 2 years, they locked me out of my online account for 90 days. They told me to send in a money order, which I did. It conveniently didn't show up even though I had a receipt. So the funds are now tied up for 90 days with the bank.
