This place has great customer service and is clean. Evan was really patient with me while I was trying to decide which unit would work best for my needs. He was able to answer all of my questions with ease and was very friendly. He made filling out the paperwork a breeze. I haven't moved my things in to the storage unit yet, but so far I am pleased with this A-1 Self Storage. Thanks, Evan!

A-1 Self Storage is super clean and the service is great! I got to the office just before they closed (after a very, very long drive with a Uhaul trailer) and a staff member was able to find me a unit close to the elevators and even stayed a few minutes after closing to show me the unit and how to use the pass codes. I would definitely recommend A-1 Self Storage to anyone! The only thing that might need adjustment is the elevator. It is very slow. Just an update on the amazing staff at the Pacific Hwy Location. Not to name names, but, at one time or another I've dealt with Kaela, Rey, Emma, Armando and Francisco and I must share their unforgettable and commendable customer service. I've stored my valuable Classic '64, my Chromed out Harley and most recently a few items temporarily while I moved to a new downtown location. My husband and I moved to San Diego a little over a year ago, and chose the most convenient storage near our new condo. It was a great decision! The grounds are clean, the service is impecable! Everytime we have gone into the office, we are treated with the most friendly and efficient staff. They really know what they are doing, and it shows! The BEST storage facility we have ever used. We hightly recommend A-1 Self Storage on Pacific Hwy!

Another seamless rental experience, from reservation to dropping off our car. We actually opted to fly from San Diego to Mazatlan than from LA because of the peace of mind leaving our car at A-1 Storage in a clean and safe environment, at a very modest cost. Wonderful professionalism on the part of every staff individual we had contact with. Wouldn't hesitate to use them at any time the need for storage arises.

I was very impressed with both the facility and staff at this location. The building itself is brand new and this location offers unique storage options like auto storage. My single complaint is that only a small percentage of units are climate controlled, leaving me a bit concerned during prime summer months. I was set up with a unit in a matter of minutes by a really helpful young man who was detailed and easy to speak with-- I left feeling very confident about my decision to store my valuable items at A1. i have been using this facility for my commercial storage for about a year now.. moved from another downtown location because of the homeless presence at the previous one.. it was just to much to feel safe when i would go alone... there is a homeless presence here but it is hardly noticeable.. this A-1 is the bomb pretty much.. they have secure entry and exit ways.. they have cameras everywhere... its clean... they never give me a hard time when i leave an empty box down in the underground parking and the office staff are su... read more
