In the past 4 years, I've moved six times, so I've seen my fair share of self-storage companies. With that said, this A-1 location (2235 Pacific Highway) is by far the best one that I've ever used. I left on a military deployment last year on short notice, and the staff helped me to get a parking space for my truck and a storage unit on about 3 days notice, which really helped me out. I had the best experience at this location! Everyone was so nice, I was able to see a couple different units before I chose one to rent, and the facility is extremely clean! The staff had wonderful customer service and I love the fact that I can have my boxes from work shipped to my unit and the staff will put the boxes in my unit for me.

I have rented several storage units at A1 through the past seven years at this location. I have also referred many clients. They have an exceptionally clean facility and a nice, professional staff. Very good location and easily accessible! The staff was extremely professional and polite. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. They took the time to work with me to figure out my storage needs and they didn't try to up-sell me on anything. Highly recommended.

I picked this place to store my vehicle because of all the amazing Yelp reviews. And guess what...they were right. This place is amazing. It is a fairly new facility. It is clean, safe, and secure. I stored my car in the VIP storage garage. It has security cameras on the inside. They trickle charge your battery and keep the tires inflated. They have charging stations and compressors on the inside for just that purpose. They never allow more than 1 accompanied customer into the VIP garage at one time. The staff made sure to give me the best possible rate. They were always polite and professional. One person in particular stood out. I was moving items from a storage locker at their downtown location and saw the manager, Steve, helping customers. I was at the facility in Fashion Valley hours later, and saw him rushing up because of an "emergency". Had my stuff stored here for a long time and never an issue with the facility or staff, all top notch. As I was moving some items one day, I accidently left my wallet and very expensive new smart phone on one of the dolly carts and left. Came home and realized what I left back at the storage facility and before I could even begin to make my way back they had already secured my items and had them waiting for my in the office. Great location, facility and staff, the only draw back is the price, but you get what you pay for.

I would definitely use this storage location again. I'm always slightly skeptical about fine print when dealing with shipping, storage or moving services and my experience with this A-1 location left me completely at ease. I needed a unit for 1 month and Francisco made the process of securing a unit quick and painless. Agree with a prior comment: I don't know how much they pay him, but I bet it's not enough. He was invaluable.

Absolutely an A+ experience working with the team here. I had incredibly unique needs based on some work I was doing in the area. Everyone on their team from Steve the manager to Fernando the vehicle runner (not sure what to call his position) was incredible. They made several last minute adjustments to facilitate my needs and were all very pleasant and enjoyable to work with throughout the entire process.
