We rented a unit here, and were helped by Aleli, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made everything easy and seamless. She was great and really helped make a stressful situation (moving) into a joyful encounter. She made sure we got the best price possible and took the time to show us a couple of different options, despite being busy with all sorts of other customers at the same time. Aleli helped me out and is fantastic :) very friendly and so helpful! She rules and has a great energy which is something that is taken for granted in the storage world The units are clean and easily accessible! Great locks and good security! I feel like my stuff is safe and secure in this place:)

My experience is based on renting a 10 x 20 unit on April 26, 2019 on Vineland Avenue. Thus far, I'm very satisfied with renting with A-1 Self Storage. I liked that I could reserve the unit on the internet (and over phone) at no charge for a limited time until I could view it in person to be sure. Kal was a really big help and gave good advice. He was also very patient and was willing to show multiple units. Even showed the same units we looked at again so i could make the best decision. The facility is very clean and well kept.

Nice enough people and a good storage building/location, but they will raise your prices!!! I started in November 2017 paying, $138. They raised it to $155 in less than a year, and now, March 2019 (less than a year a half later) I just got notice they want to raise it to $185 a month. I just looked at their website and they have my 5x10 unit size on "web special" for $109. I will email to look into it more, but buyer beware. Their business model seems to target people who store long term, hoping they will not fight the rate ... read more
