I was looking for a storage unit, with shawn's help she showed me a few units that fit my needs. Shawn was very helpful and professional.

These guys are amazing. I went in a few months ago, and Shawn was super helpful. I wasn't ready to commit to a unit, but she was willing to go through the whole process, and took her time and was so helpful and kind! I ended up not booking the unit that day, but due to get service I knew when I was ready that would be the place. I went back today, and just as pulled up I saw Shawn leaving to assist someone else. The staff here are very helpful! Shawn and her co-workers took care of me even though I walked in 5minutes before closing time. No bad comments from this visit.

Today we came in and met with Shawn and she was extremely helpful. We were able to get our storage unit set up and we got to start putting stuff in. Everyone was very nice and helpful. All of our questions were answered and we felt comfortable with choosing A-1 as our storage place for the next 5 month+. I definitely recommend A-1 storage unit! It's also secure which made us feel very good about choosing this location!!

Shawn was extremely helpful in showing us multiple storage units. She answered any questions that we had and was very friendly! She was thorough in explaining every detail to us such as our monthly payment, who isresponsible, how to put on our lock on our unit. She was extremely transparent in telling us what everything would cost etc... we are happy with our choice at A1!

High prices, poor customer service and communication. My door broke 2 weeks ago and the GIRLS in the office don't know where the door is or have updated me with any status. The door for my unit is so difficult to open that I hurt my back. I emailed the GIRLS and nothing back. Not impressed with what happens after cruise control is taken off. Everything is ok until a problem presents itself then the employees don't know what to do. Thanks for not updating me. Very poor performance

In order to address the problem, we created controlled access to the restroom. We do have a key available in the front office for our customers. Unfortunately, previous measures to prevent the abuse of restroom privileges and vandalism were not effective, and we had no other alternative. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the impact of our growing homelessness epidemic in San Diego County is affecting us all.
Shawn was very helpful. Renting was super easy and convenient. Also very close to state.
