Glad I chose to store my stuff at this location! The facility is brand new, so the unit is clean and nice, the elevators work well, and they provide carts to move your stuff from your vehicle to your unit - very convenient, and makes things go much faster! Also, the access hours are much more convenient than other places that are only open until about 6pm... this place is open 6am to 10pm every day! The staff also are friendly and very helpful! I've used A-1 Self Storage in the past and have recently relocated to the Mira Mesa area. I was very happy to see there is a new A-1 Self Storage in Mira Mesa actually down the street from my condo. My brother stopped by and spoke with leila who hooked him up with a unit that was clean, safe and had very easy access. This is a very safe place for women who want store items here you will feel safe. The manager Alexis. Is very nice. We had a miscommunication and mis understanding between my husband and I and the managers at the place due to our learning challenges they gave us information and we processed it differently.. we have a hard time with our learning challenges its embarrassing sometimes to ask people to dumb down what the paper work says or what it means or ask them to explain it more in detail so we can understand it better. Love this clean, safe storage facility. The people are kind and upfront about the charges. There is a restroom on site, I haven't seen another storage facility that has that available. Awesome! The provided carts, sturdy elevators, and parking spots all made moving items in and out a breeze.
Great staff and the building was well managed. Decided to go with this storage unit because it was one of the cheapest options nearby, especially with the discount they have on the first month, which was great for people like me who only needed short term storage. I completely forgot cancel my rental after the first month, but since I was still in the grace period, one of the staff, Pinkie, helped me with canceling my rental remotely and even got me a full refund for the second month! The team working here is friendly and helpful. I have had a unit here since I got to San Diego back in July 2019. I would recommend this place! They offer military discounts too. They can't really help but raise their costs due to inflation, so while it's a bummer, that doesnt mean theyre evil. Just keep that in mind. I have downsized my unit from a 7.5x10 to a 5x10 in order to save $60 per month in order to help with the rising rent costs. Times are tough, but so are we!

GRACE IS AMAZING!!! She is so nice and patient and has the best attitude ever!! She was made for the customer service industry, and I would rent from this location just to speak with her.
