Great storage place. Would highly recommend to anyone. No problems at all and rates are very affordable. Friendly staff and a close location as well.
Beware of fees on top of fees. Have to have their lock-10, insurance required - 15, the quote that they were able to increase cause you didn't know there was lower quotes 8. Kayla helped me out today and was super helpful happy to be at her work . I had gone to the Alvarado Canyon location by the Grandville trolley station in San Diego and had multiple issues with their customer service they did not want to work with me when it came to change my move-in date or pricing or reimbursing my lock (which was only $10) they treated me as if they were annoyed and didn't want to be there . manager was very rude but when I came to the Kearny Mesa location my experience was 200 times better moved in with v... read more
I have been with A-1 Self Storage for 3 years. It has been, by far, the best experience I've ever had with a storage company. The overall facility is very clean as well as the individual units (I've seen several of the units and used two of them) It has secure access to the units with later operating hours for people with varying schedules like mine. This location is clean and convenient for me. The storage units are clean. The staff are friendly and approachable. They are open 7 days a week if you decide you need a unit the last minute. I will recommend to anyone.

We looked for many options around the area and A-1 Self Storage seems to have great pricing. Also it felt like it was one of the more secure storages when compared to others. Overall impressed and happy that we found A-1 and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for storage space.
If you're thinking of storing your valuables here, you should seriously re-consider and find a storage business that takes security seriously. After having my unit recently plundered by thieves who bypassed extremely lax security, I am convinced my possessions would be more safe on my front lawn than they were at this establishment. My worst nightmare has become reality - ugh!
