Visited 4 different storage places this Saturday. This was our second stop. We ended up coming back to this location because the lady at the front office Pinky was professional, good customer service and had great energy. The place is clean too.
Grace is amazing. She made the whole process of getting a storage unit so easy and took all the stress away. Very clean facility and convenient location!
One of the best storage unit locations I've ever used! PROs: The front office is very well-stocked and clean. The staff workers are very respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient at their jobs. Renting a unit is very painless and you can even call before and have it held for free for 24 hours. You will have to buy a cylinder lock if you do not already have one, so prepare yourself they are a little pricey but you can use any standard cylinder lock from any storage unit and it should work. The A-1 Self Storage Facility on Copley is very clean, The manager, Chris, is very nice and on top of things. We did find some silverfish in our boxes after we moved the things we were storing out, but we never saw any other insects or rodents when we were on the premises. There were definitely some homeless people living out of the units or storing their items there though. I was getting ready to move and not sure what I wanted to keep so decided to rent a self storage. All new to me so I called around and talked to a lot of nice people at different companies. I have numerous storage facilities both business and personal, in both San Diego and on the east coast. A1 pricing is competitive with their initial internet rate offerings very attractive and helpful. The staff are friendly and efficient, answering and otherwise returning calls promptly consistently when needed. Finally, the facilities are always clean and those I use new with easy access and long hours.
