My wife and I visited while on vacation. We had the chargrilled oysters which were delicious. I also ordered a seafood salad and my wife a burger. Burger was decent, but the salad was basically iceberg lettuce with a couple shrimp, cold tasteless blue crab legs and some lump crab meat. Pretty blah for the price. Service was great. If I ever go back, we will stick with the oysters.
My family and I just ate there last night.That would be July the 6th. It was a party of 6. There was 3 adults and 3 children, ages 8, 10, and 13. The food was great but when we got our ticket we had it split and an 18% gratuity was added to each of our seperated tickets then since our party of three used a credit card they then asked could an additional $16 be added to the bill..!!??? Absolutely the worst experience ever! The hostess manager (Jen) told us it would be about an hour. We were seated 2 hrs later. She was rude and unprofessional. Once we finally received our food it was over cooked and inedible. Truly the worst! We will never go back!
My family and I have always enjoyed coming here to eat but tonight was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We waited 2 hours for our table when we were told it would only be 1, half of the tables food was late plus the food runners were extremely rude. I felt so badly for the waitress because she couldn't control the kitchen.
The food was good (not great). The service was AWFUL. Maybe that's why we were seated immediately. When a party of 6+ has gratuity automatically added to the check, you should get drink refills without having to ask. The cocktail sauce for the appetizer came - after requesting it three times - after the entrees. Two orders came out wrong but were somewhat quickly corrected. We won't be back.
Made 2 mistakes with my order. Didn't clean the table from our oysters. We had nah room to eat. Very slow service and the food was wrong and not good. I would not recommend
Not highly recommended. Just average. Crab claws were not fresh. Didn't pull off the claw easily. Gumbo is better at home.
