2g work great in remote areas, such as Dutch Harbor. Went to Anchorage and was able to get LTE. Flew down to Seattle.... No signal in Seattle, but it jumps on ATT towers, with no LTE service.
Really terrible service here in Sitka...

Having the internet for home base is fine. Cell phone internet is always slow or is non excitant. Just tiresome and very irritating.
Cannot get more than 1mbps in my area, been using them for almost 3 years. There has to be a way for ACS to upgrade that speed. Really?
So this is the third time this has happened with my iMessage not working. The last time I actually had someone who gave a dang and was willing to look into why my phone wasn't working. Come to find out it was the way my phone was getting routed through the ACS system. It was fixed. This time I talked to two people. Internet stopped working last night, at 2am. Contacted support in the following morning and the person said that he couldn't reach my modem, so he would have to pass it to a higher level customer service, which had 24 to 48h to get look into it, and then if they can't find the problem, it would be forwarded to another team who also has 24 to 48h to look into it, but they don't work on weekends. Priorities are clearly not customer satisfaction, as a downtime of 3 to 5 days is what you should expect when you have an issue...
What I pay for smartphones and internet is criminal, especially since it's super slow or not working far, far too often.
