My experience with Alderman Automotive in Fishers was mixed. I do appreciate that they were able to get me approved for a vehicle despite my credit history, and for that I am thankful. However, the pricing and add-ons were concerning. Nice people but my experience was not good. Mechanic left a wrench sitting on engine and tried to start car. This damaged the engine to the point that it had to be rebuilt. Unfortunately only one of their mechanics is capable of doing this and he had health issues. My biggest frustration is that things did not progress on time table that I was told on several occasions. I used a $49. 95 coupon for oil change and tire rotation. I brought my own oil filter. I was told my tires had good tread but a rotation was never done. I asked for a reduced price but was told it was a package price (even though I didn’t receive the package). I don’t plan on returning or suggesting anyone try your company.
I was charged $995 extra for lucus oil protection when zhan wrote on my quote it was to be included in the price. I have the documentation. When i spoke with austin about this he pretty much said there was nothing he could do.
Sold me a car with lots of issues. I have already dropped 4k trying to fix it up. Now the A/C is not working. Disappointed in the dishonesty presented by this dealership. Disappointed I let them pressure me into buying the vehicle. Just disappointed all around. Would not recommend buying from them.
Their finance manager has been charged with 12 felonies in the last 5 years. Domestic battery. Possession of cocaine. Criminal confinement. Strangulation. Go ahead and look him up—Austin Sohn. Him and the rest of the employees are a bunch of crooks selling xxxx cars. Offers condescending apologies for being an xxxxxxx and the dealership offers the excuse that “he’s young.” He should probably just be in prison by the looks of it. Don’t go here for a car!!! They sold my son a car with a stock clutch that was never meant to go with a super charged engine. The engine also was full of shavings and started showing issues right after the clutch. When we bought the platinum extended warranty, We were told it would cover the engine. After we filed the claim, they denied it and left us with $20000 worth of repairs. Max was very helpful, management was also helpful until I finished signing paperwork, then I got the feeling of why am I bothering them with any issues on the car the I just purchased 24 hours ago, very sad! We had the car three weeks and if you let the car sit longer than 24 hours the battery was dead. Took to Lexus dealership and there was a parasitic drain coming from the central gateway ECU. This is now costing us $1,600 in repairs. This is something the dealership would have known as the car won’t start after 24 hours. I emailed dealership and have not heard a response.
