Been going there for 15 years 3 times per year. Must have new ownership or new chef. Service was awesome as always but the food was such a let down even down to the bread they bring out. Use to be an assortment with these really great crackers. Ow it's some cornbread rosemary thing My favorite item in the world was the spinach salad which is different now. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Cocktails are very pricey and the parking is awful. Is it legal for there to be no handicap spaces?
The early bird was below par in many respects. Diners were rush through the meal to the extent that salads were removed before eating; giving patrons the bums rush throughout the meal. The entire meal wasvery poor quality. Big mistake in eating at Alexanders; would not recommend or ever return.
The restaurant ignored our comments during reservation. Server was inattentive and seemed to be in a rush. Food was just ok.
Food was fine but unexceptional. We were expecting more based on the restaurant's reputation and recommendations. And for a restaurant that bills itself as also a wine bar, the wines-by-the-glass selection was very poor.
The noise level was so loud that we were not able to even carry on a decent conversation. I was so hoping someone would address the customers behind us and across from us. It made for such a disappointing evening. Other two tables were obnoxious and should have been asked to be respectful of other diners. Something is definitely missing - we will not return. Our server was kind. She should have been aware of the situation and said something.
