Awfull !! Overcharged my daughter and tore her sofa. Quote was $450-$500 actual cost: $1038.00 Owner could have cared less when she discussed it with him. Austin location, 10/19/2023 When she told the head mover she couldn't tip because the bill was more than she expected, he said it happens all the time.

I will never use this company again. The movers were more interested in the ball game than the Job they were hired for. They were slow and drug out the job costing me 300 more than it should have. There were fees that were not discussed at the time of booking. They did not even have their own truck. They showed up in a rented moving truck. All around horrible movers.

We made the mistake of not checking the Yelp reviews before hiring. We were told - after giving a list of items that had to be moved - to consider 1 1/2 hours to load, 1 1/2 hours to unload. We ended up being charged almost triple what was estimated. Although we were assured that the movers were experienced, it turned out that the helpers had been with the company less than a week, (first day for one). The guy in charge, only three months. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had a nightmare experience with them. I had to be out of a house I sold by June 30. I walked the estimator around my house on Facetime and showed him every single thing that needed to be packed and they were also going to store my belongings until my apartment was ready. I received an estimate for moving, packing and storage. I have never been more upsets in my entire life when it comes to a moving company. Not only was the quote in accurate, but they scratched up every single piece of my furniture. I have a massage chair that's valued at $7000. When they took it down my stairs, they did not wrap it or make sure that it was protected, so that no scratches got on it. I would never recommend this company to move. They dropped a dresser and broke our treadmill. Then they refused to pay for the entirety of the cost to pay for it. The movers had trouble moving furniture and a family member had to step in to help out? They slowed down during day to run the clock as well. In addition, their customer service/communication is terrible when it came down to opening a claim. Never use this moving company. Your stuff will get destroyed. One of the worst moving companies I have used.

Due to their neglect, they broke the legs off of the table I inherited from my grandmother. I haven't been able to use my dining room for 6 weeks because they left it upside down on my floor, and they refuse to cover the cost of getting it fixed. Today, they said they would prefer I take legal action. Completely untrustworthy and heartless. I've never dealt with such a bad moving company.

Our moving experience was just terrible overall. Zero stars if I could. When we initially inquired for quotes, they said it would be $550 for 2 hrs for 2 men. We gave them a detailed list of what we had both in our garage & 1B1B. Then Brian/Tony said as long as everything was boxed/packed, it could totally be done in 2 hours, and to meet the 2 hr minimum, we could even hire a 3 man crew and it would be "AROUND" the same time & price. We used AMS to pack us for a long distance move in May 2023. It was a large job - 4,000sf worth of packing to be done. We packed the easy things and left the breakables for the professionals to pack (all furniture, kitchen, tv's/wall hangings & anything else that was glass). Unbeknownst to us, AMS's packing strategy is to shove everything into a box WITHOUT ANY WRAPPING.
