The biggest complaint I have was the pricing and the way they tried to upsell their services. I think I paid way too much. And I didn't like that you had to pay before they moved your furniture into the new place. I still don't know how moving costs could double during COVID (2023) to now (2026).
worst moving experience ever! I waited over 8 hours for them to show up. When I called I was told I booked to be on standby this was not correct. There are lots of hidden fees they don't tell you about when you book.They didn't wrap my mattress and all of my items didn't make it to my new residence. Save yourself the trouble and get a Uhaul and do it yourself!
In 2020 I had a lovely experience with AMS. But they moved us in August 2025, quoted $1500, charged $4000 and took a long break which they charged me (all three movers). They made me pay the bill before they would put my items on the new place. After they left I found many broken items, they brought some of the wrong things (so I had to move them back) and left things I tagged for bringing. This company will destroy your furniture and breakable items and then not replace them. They have horrible customer service. Their movers are completely incompetent.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR POSSESSIONS!!!
A terrible experience! Please do not make the same mistake I made, and give your hard-earned money to a company like this. Schedule a move for a SINGLE BEDROOM and a few boxes. There was a total of about 6 pieces of furniture and 5 boxes. I was quoted a rate of $179 an hour and about a two hour move. High rate but seemed reasonable. From a communication and management perspective this was a horrible experience from start to finish from this Carrollton, TX branch location. I was given a pickup time of 12 pm, Friday, May 8, 2026. After multiple calls and a virtual shouting match with management the crew showed at 5:30 pm. That's not the worst part.... Add on charges after you book them, they charge for supplies and when you say you don't want to use them they say they won't move your items without wrapping and so your kinda stuck
They were moving in some new Residents to our Apartment Community in Flower Mound Tx and broke one of our doors. When directly asked if they broke it they said "NO". We have it on video-we called the phone number provided to us by our Resident and when answered by Paul..he asked what it was about and then said he would forward me to the "Claims" department. Absolutely Disastrous Experience with All My Son Moving! I rarely write reviews, but this one is absolutely necessary. I paid a $100 deposit, whichthat apparently vanished into thin air because no one can tell me where it went. The movers took two hours just to get their act together for a one-bedroom apartment, and when they finally delivered, their attitude was as if they were doing me a favor.
