If you want movers who show up on time, do their job well and in a reasonable amount of time, find anywhere else but this one. Robert, the apparent manager, will call you and walk through what to expect - and ask about your own expectations. You'll be clear about them. He'll then promise you some movers will arrive at a particular time. They wont. They'll be late. Then they'll take a look around and leave. At least that's what happened to me. I contacted this company to get a quote on a long-distance move across country. Lizzie answered the phone and was pleasant sounding. She asked for the to/from addresses but I explained at this time I was simply calling around to get quotes and not willing to provide the exact addresses. I would however provide her with the postal codes. She said she would not be able to give me an accurate quote with just that. Hired them to do a local move and they damaged most everything they moved and to make matters worse they stole property from us and it was videoed on our home security system. We contacted the local office to report it and show them the video but they offered no help. When we contacted the corporate office they seemed not to care as well. We ended up having to file a police report and hire an attorney and have yet to get any help or reimbursement from All My Sons.

I set up a yelp just so I could review these guys. Horrible. We would've been better off moving ourselves and I firmly believe it wouldn't have taken as much time. We were moving from a 650 square foot apartment and had already removed the small items, but it still took these professionals 3 hours to move a bed, mattress, dresser, desk, nightstand, coffee table, 2 barstools, and entertainment center 5 minutes away. I would not recommend this moving company. Three young men showed up ready to work but proved they had very little moving experience. They dropped my stove and damaged it. Not one piece on my bedroom furniture made it to my new home without damage and scratches. Same for my den furniture. I did file a claim and trusted that the total AMS figured for the damages would be correct but it wasn't. I brought their calculation error to their attention. Pros: easy to schedule. Huge flexibility with scheduling. Packing that was completed was done very well. Cons: there seems to be a lack of communication between the customer service representatives and the movers. My move was not completed. I paid by the hour and they left 45% of my house unpacked and unmoved. I asked multiple times if I needed to be present during the move and I was told no. They We're professional and wrapped very well, until the just stopped. I sent pictures to manager who decided with workers they had done enough! I paid more than $1,000 over estimate and begged them To stay. I sent manager pictures showing work to be done. I had to pay another company $1,500 to finish the job. I am retired army. Imagine if I just walked off the battlefield ? Buyer Beware!

Wish I had seen these reviews prior to hiring All Sons to move furniture within our home. The final price was much higher than originally quoted ($400 for less than an hour of labor + 50 minutes round trip drive time) and, after speaking with the manager who claimed that the sales guy outlined the pricing in full, it was obvious they don't give a crap about customer service. Before leaving, the movers hovered over me until I gave a review on Google because it would "help their bonus at the end of the year". What a joke.

Birmingham Alabama. The problems started from the beginning. There were inexperienced movers and one was mouthy to me when I asked him to be more careful with my garment racks. It only got worse as the move went on. I had lots of damages with pictures and three boxes were lost completely. I was told I could file a claim and recover my losses.
