RecommendedThis was our first move with All My Sons Moving. They did an outstanding job. It really started with the call from Calvin and the estimate he gave, which was really close to the final number . Then the crew showed up on time lead by Dewayne (sp ? Sorry if not correct) and two very polite young men. We have very bulky and heavy pieces of furniture and they handled each piece carefully, especially an antique Philco record player and radio. RecommendedMy moving experience with this company was very good. These guys worked very hard and hardly took a break. I choose this company because they are employee owned. I would recommend if you are needing to relocate.
I hired All my sons to move my things on April 12th. I specifically asked if they would be able to move my 2 LARGE mirrors (9ft and 7ft from Arhaus valued at over 3,500) They promised me that they could do the move and charged me extra for padding and supplies to ensure my property doesn't get damaged!They sent 4 young guys that had zero experience to do the job. None of the pads were used, They moved the mirrors when I turned my back, and didn't bring a truck large enough. They made two trips and didn't get done till 12am. ... read more
I was very disappointed in my experience with All My Sons Alabaster, AL location given their high rating. The estimator came out to our home and we showed him everything that needed to be moved in both our house and our storage unit. My husband told him that it would probably take two trucks but he assured us everything would fit into one truck so we were quoted a price to move EVERYTHING that we needed moved. I would not recommend All My Sons moving company. I was almost charged over $600 for moving 3 dressers, a bed, two desk chairs, and 3 nightstand sized objects, essentially a bedroom worth of items. It was a local move, 17 miles between houses, and now longer than a 40 minute drive. They tried to charge me for materials, services, and time not used. I ended up paying nearly $500 for the move. Was told one price then was charged in total over $800 for 2 and a half hours of moving. Was never told about them being in bham so they charged me for the drive when they never told me there would be a charge. Tim was very rude and had no issue taking advantage of me. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE EVER!
We used them for our office move, pricing for the move was not explain well. They loaded one truck load and left. We were told 175.00 and hour for a move. We understood that to be 175.00 until our office was moved, because we explain we have an OFFICE to move. Turns out it was for 1 truck load. BEWARE!!!!!!! This is a long review but it is worth reading!! If I could give 0 stars I would! I have a few things to complain about. Disclaimer: ALL of my items were broken down and placed in 1 area. They did NOT have to break ANYTHING down or go to different rooms to move items. ALL THE MOVERS HAD TO DO WAS MOVE ITEMS INTO THEIR TRUCK. I did NOT have them to assemble items in my new house, all I needed them to do was to put the items in the new house, that is all!
