Was told they would send two trucks, sent one and jammed most of a 2400 square foot house into it. Paid for a full pack, and the jokers who showed up didn't even know they were supposed to pack it up. Were three hours late, so they were late leaving out and caused us to use a vacation day bc we had to overnight at the destination. Broke my king bed and big screen TV. I scheduled to move with All My Sons a month in advance for a move this morning. The crew pulled up to my house, and with out attempting to use the back access drive, calls me and says the 26 foot truck they brought wouldn't fit due to a power line. The driver said he would speak to his manager, pick up a 13 foot truck, and call me back with an update shortly. After an hour with no call, I called the customer service line. The All My Sons Pelham office should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. I have never written a negative Yelp/Google review, BUT I have also never been treated so poorly (thank you Nate) as a paying customer of a business. We booked with All My Sons for our Saturday move a few weeks in advance. My husband spoke to MULTIPLE different reps, male and females, confirming that movers would be at our house at 8:00am. All My Sons is now a triggering name to hear. You're better off moving yourself if no one else is available. With my experience, they are extremely disingenuous, they lie, they do not motivate their movers in any way (including the lowww wages they pay their movers even though they charge a sure amount to get their big profit , and they are certainly not on schedule which is a big deal with many peoples schedules. Disappointed in the move. Both refrigerators were dented, did not wrap or package critical items, especially mattresses, missed numerous boxes, did not confer and review listed items before moving out. No followup from office after completion.
We used AMS this past year to move and it was not a good experience. First of all we booked way ahead of time and they showed up late with a skeleton crew. We felt sorry for the 2 movers, supposed to be 3 or more...bought them lunch, water(they had none). It was the son of one of the employees helping us and I ended up helping them myself. Then when moving the furniture they broke an antique piece of my wife's grandmother...after months of filling out paper work and calling with no response we are having to buy a new piece. ... read more
This has been the absolute worst customer service experience of my life. These guys busted my 72 inch TV. They scuffed up our furniture by storing it upside down in the truck. They even scuffed the walls in the wall of my old house that I had to repa I could sell it. We filed a complaint, and was offered less than 10% of our belongs' value, providing that we sign an NDA. Run away from this company as fast as you can. I would never use this company again. I have used 3 different moving companies throughout the years, and this is the worst company I've ever used. They damaged several places (scratched floors, damaged doorways) moving out, and damaged an antique piano that cannot be replaced or repaired. Unreliable, Unprofessional, Rude,Disrespectful, Unethical, and let's be honest Untruthful. To say I had a bad time dealing with All My Son's Moving and Storage is an absolute understatement. I had a move scheduled to start in the Morning, they showed up in the afternoon. They were supposed to send 3 workers, they only sent 2.
