We just used them, unfortunately. Was quoted 2 guys at 139 an hour, end bill was 3 guys at 169 an hour. Had to pay to get unloaded. I'm filling fraud charges with CC. I feel like I was extorted. No reply's to emails or calls. Was told we wouldn't be charged for a 3rd guy and we were. Shady business practices here. Stay away.
Before the move: After sending someone out to look at the house, they said the move would take two trucks and 5 hours. Cost quote was increased. Day of move, showed up with one truck and took 14 hours. Do NOT use All My Sons! My Mom booked them over a month in advance, paid the deposit, and confirmed with them a week before her move. They NEVER SHOWED! She called and they basically said, “oh yeah, sorry - we don’t have anybody to work.” They didn’t call or anything! It was crazy! They told her they could get to her the next Sunday, which was 6 days after her scheduled move! They didn’t apologize and the person both she and my brother talked to was a complete jerk. HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. Birmingham AL should be ashamed of themselves.
DO NOT use this poorly managed company. My husband and I had a horrible experience and hope you DO NOT make the same mistake we did. Take a look at the GROUPS people have made about their poor business practices. They misquoted my move. Some guy named Kedrick threatened my husband. They didn’t have the right equipment for the job. They left half my belongings in the old house. The owner had the audacity to charge me full price for a job half done. My Kamado Joe ceramic grill was dropped and cracked when moving and I was standing there when it happened. This is a 1k grill and they offered $90 lousy dollars to replace it. What a sorry excuse for a company! We told them ahead of of time we had a grill and they said it was no problem but obviously it was. Our experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage was an absolute nightmare. We hired them to assist with unloading for 2 hours. They arrived a little earlier than the set time which was fine with us. However, immediately upon two men exiting the truck, we were overwhelmed by the smell of Marijuana.. They proceeded to hand us a contract to sign and stated there was more on the truck then agreed upon but said they would help for a “nice tip”.. This place I would never ever recommend! For the price, it was absolutely outrageous and still no one will get back to me!! I did the 2 hour minimum and the 1 hour of drive time they require, so add that up at $159.00 a hour... it took them one hour to load my small 950 square foot apartment up and then one hour drive time to my new place (which was not a hour away but only 18 minutes) then it took less then a hour to unload my stuff from the truck because I had others helping (which the movers said was fine it would cut dow... read more
