Wow my mistake for not reading these reviews before hiring! So let me echo what everyone else is saying. THE PRICING THEY QUOTE IS INTENTIONALLY INACCURATE! They load up all your stuff then hit you with an inflated bill afterwards. Disgusting business practice. No response from management regarding my complaint via email, so now it's on Yelp. The second star is because the actual movers were friendly and did a good enough job. But this company deserves to fail.
RIP OFF ALERT!!!! Beware of the classic low ball estimator who guaranteed me on three phone calls that absolutely the total price would not exceed a certain number. When the crew leader presented me with the bill it was $320 above the estimate! He promptly blamed the salesman for low balling and said they do it all the time. While they were moving my furniture into the new home, the workers were constantly complaining to me about how important tips were. They showed up 2 hours late, smoking when they got here. No masks when they looked to see what they would be moving. Another guy looked. Said my sons room was too dirty(it was, but was getting cleaned after we moved) and then refused to move me. Only talked to their boss, not me. I guess it was too late in the day (4pm) and they wanted to go home. One guy wore a mask, but neither of the ones who were in the apartment did. They suck!
These guys are CRIMINALS!! Paid 3 guys $75/each to pack several items up in boxes prior to move. Upon finishing up they give my elderly mother a blank invoice and insist they need a credit card in order to come back with a truck to take everything to her storage locker. Naively she acquiesced and the next thing she knows these guys charged $600 to the card. When we approached the company they insisted they would make everything right and finish the job. Horrible service. Late arrivals, same day cancellations (2), breach of contract and now a pending legal as they refuse to return MY deposit due to their negligence. Stay away from this business.
Without a doubt this is the worst moving company we have ever encountered. We have moved countries a number of times and have never experienced such a terrible job. They start by sending a nice professional sales person who walks around your house with you, assessing everything that needs to be moved and he asked up to open all our cupboards etc. While taking down notes on his iPAD. Set move date for Saturday. They called Thursday to confirm 11:00. Boxed up everything ready to move. 1:00 still no one. Called and told 3:00 or 4:00 but don't worry we will have you moved before dark. 5:00 no one answers phone. Call headquarters and was told VP will call me back immediately. 6:15 no call from VP and 2 little exhausted guys with a Penske truck show up at my door.....IN the Dark! WORST experience ever!!!!! This company gives one quote, then charge you for other things. The employees that they sent dropped my items, were cussing loudly to each other, and we're slow all while using cell phone on my time...never again
Extremely unprofessional with the crew that was sent to my home. They tried to extort the furnishings and things that I was donating that I asked to have moved after they were on site to Goodwill that was 1.8 miles from my home. When they decided to get in the truck and run up the clock as I was paying for three professional movers this was not the case.
