Needed to hire a moving company to move my things from my 2 bedroom apartment in blackwood to a townhouse in Atco. They quoted me 150 dollars an hour and should only take 3-4 hours. I packed everything myself I did not use their packing service. When the day came they arrived on time and started to load my belongings. Everything seemed okay until we arrived at the house in Atco. These movers promised arrival at 8 am. Delayed until 12 to 2. We called at 3 and they said they'd be there at 4. At 6:30 they said they'd come at 8 am the next day. They arrived as promised, didn't like the parking situation in South Philly and cancelled.

Yelp really needs to make it where you can give businesses with corrupt business practices ZERO STARS. I was scheduled to be moved today, I received a call from a guy who identified himself as daniel and said he was a co owner. He informed me that although I was scheduled for a 2 guy move he had to send three guys because his guys were tied up and my price would go up by 60 dollars! Got a window of noon-3 for a small apartment 20 mile move on a Saturday. Called at 10 for an update, was told about 2. Called at 2 for an update, was told about 4. Called at 3:30 for an update, was told 4:30-5. Movers showed at 5, complained about how they had gotten their "butts" kicked that day with three moves, not apologetic at all. Worst.Move.Ever. Insurance claim in progress, but the worst part is the Local Cherry Hill Staff has never called us back as promised. Not one call after 2 weeks of asking for their photos of my broken furniture. They didn't deliver it, said it was destroyed in the move and that they took pictures of it. The furniture that did make it in one piece, is nicked and missing parts. 2 wheels on the bed frame, lost the other 2. Complained endlessly about our heavy items. Threw boxes in piles that were leaning over. Boxes marked fragile upside down and at the bottom of many of these unsteady stacks. Boxes were labeled as to where they belonged, most boxes were mixed up all over the house. Head boards were insecurely leaned against a dresser and crashed down the next day. Zero stars!! Daniel has no customer service ! Contacted him one week to confirm move. Doesn't know how to talk to customers . Called 2 days before move to get a time for pick up. Daniel NEVER CALLED BACK! I had to call twice more! Day before move he said he couldn't help or accommodate my move! Wait what ?? I just confirmed last week . Worst movers ever. Given a price on the phone and when moving day arrived there were added charges which I was not told about. Must pay before the furniture is unloaded. I was told by Richard who said he was a manager that the movers would be willing to put a few pieces of furniture at the dumpster near my door. When I asked the movers to do so i was told they werent my trashmen. After calling the office to complain, the one guy told me they would do it but needed to be tipped. Zero stars! Look out for the double charge scam! They charge a $250 credit card payment when they show up. At the end of the move, they will charge your card for the total payment. As you drive off, they will call you 1 minute later to tell you the payment didn't go through, we need another credit card. You will then find out a few days later that BOTH credit card charges went through.
