This Place is the WORST customer service..... There is none. Didnt get back with a quote for two weeks we called back gave some ridiculous quote of $6K to move from NYC to HHI. With no furniture. Said why dont you try a local company. WELL no southern hospitality here. Glad this happened anyway after seeing the other reviews.
Was quoted 110 hour for 3 hour minimum and guaranteed am move. Day before called me and said it was 130 an hour with an additional hour charge for travel time plus said couldn't do morning had to do afternoon. Horrible business ethics.
If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I made arrangements for 4 men and 2 trucks and confirmed the details 2 more times after I made the arrangements as I am a single mom and I really needed help moving. They sent 4 men and I truck, and I found out that they did that because I was paying them by the hour instead of by the job and by promising 2 trucks and sending 1, they would have to make more trips and I would have to pay a lot more. 06/27/15 On this past Tuesday, movers arrived at 9:15AM from All My Sons in Bluffton, SC. I was moving 20 miles from Sun City Hilton Head to Hilton Head Plantation. I was only moving one bedroom set (of a 3 bedroom home), an office including 2 couches, a dining room set, and had packed all the kitchen (plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc,), clothing (all the hangup stuff I moved), books that we packed, 2 bureaus, decorative pictures, bookcases, end tables, a medium size TV stand, TV's, outdoor furniture, and an oversized ... read more
I had this company move my two bedroom condo and it was a disaster!!! They promised me a a.m. appointment which was supposed to be 8:30-9:30 and they showed up at 2:30. The two guys wrapped my furniture in brown butcher paper instead of moving blankets and banged furniture into all the walls. Half way thru the job they tried to get me to have two more guys come so they could finish at their time frame and of course for an additional fee. One of the worst moves I have ever experienced. Not all the furniture was moved. Some damage done to the furniture. Scratches and broken furniture. Not all the furniture was moved and they expect payment before all furniture is removed from truck and will drive off and hold your furniture for ransom/ payment before they will unload it all. DO NOT USE!
I have had to move several times for my job over the years, and have always had a pretty decent experience. Have used Allied, Mayflower, 2 Men and a Truck... Then I had the misfortune of using a "Local" moving company here in Bluffton, SC. What a mistake. They were soooo nice in giving me the estimate and telling me how great they are. I used this moving company to pack my personal items, moved me to their storage and they overcharged me for the move. i then could not get anyone to move me out of there storage because of their reputation so I had no choice to use them again. this time they destroyed brand new furniture and took items that from my home. I would advise anyone who is looking to use them not to .they will destroy four stuff take from you and over charge you at the last minute that if you won't pay they won't give you your stuff. horrible is no... read more
I'd give them a zero star if I could. We hired them to move a pool table frame from my parents' house in Hilton Head to our home near Denver. Disaster from the start. First off, they could not understand the logistics of the move (i.e. when we would actually be at our house to receive the shipment). No matter how many times we told them "this week we will not be home" they would call to say that's exactly when they wanted to deliver. But the worst was yet to come.
