NEVER USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! At first this company seemed promising-rate was around the same as most moving companies but lady that booked me was super sweet and convincing. I told her the square footage of my condo and what exactly I would need moved. She reassured me that definitely with 3 movers and a truck it could be done in 2 hours. She told me their hourly rate and what two hours would cost, but failed to mention they charge for their wrapping materials which is literally just Saran Wrap and some moving blankets. Showed up without a hand truck (dolly), so it took them far too long to load. What kind of movers come without a hand truck??? One of the 3 guys was completely useless. They ended up having to go back to their facility on the trip to the new house, and took a lunch break as well...and charged us for the entire time! Broke a chest of drawers, gouged our headboard in two places, lost refrigerator door brackets, took 2 of my moving blankets. Three guys (none of the sons) showed up 2 hours late and very surly because they already worked 2 jobs. The top guy bitched the whole day about how lousy the company is & he just wanted to unload the trailers and go home. The other 2 guys tried to do what we asked but quickly gave that up and just wanted to leave. They were recent hires, like a week, and didn't really know what to do. Scheduled a move the week before, and they canceled it the day before. They said they were going to "arrange for another company to do it." The "other company" canceled the scheduled move half an hour before they were due to arrive. It's now 2 days after the original moving date and they haven't sent anybody over. Never using this company again.

Although they got the job done, it was painful. The movers were very young men, hard-working but moving the items was very hard for them and stressful for me. I expected more professional hustle and confidence. I paid way too much money for the service I received. I do not recommend. The boys worked very hard....but could tell they wanted to move as little as possible.

Awful experience. Slow, hidden charges, unprofessional guys. They were not trained on how to do their job efficiently. Spare yourself the trauma and go with a different company.

All My Sons set up a firm moving day. I gave them a deposit and their salesman (Mark) had everything under control. My boss reluctantly allowed me to have that day off and made arrangements to cover me. The apartment manager agreed that my move day was locked. Then, six days before, All My Sons calls and says they can't do the move on that date. They were overbooked. Now I have to scramble to find another mover with no lead time. What a shame. My movers were fine. Yes, they grumbled to me the entire time that it was hard work and made me feel terrible for needing help with moving, but I can empathize. When the movers shared with me that their bosses never pay them their tips, I wasn't surprised. But what did surprise me was when my credit card company reached out to notify me that I had been billed twice, and when I attempted to have the issue handled, the customer service representative was not at all forthcoming or helpful, and then hung up on me. ... read more
