They damaged my antique piano!!! My overall experience was horrible. I hired three movers, only two showed up. They were 30 minutes late and were not wearing masks! I had to ask them a number of times to put their masks on and they repeatedly entered the house without a mask. An employee (from Portland office) refused to wear a mask in the building, said COVID isn't real. When told to wear it due to legal requirements, he said "you can't tell me what to do." He then took off running, leaving his co-workers behind. I called the Portland office to make a complaint and asked what their plan was to correct the issue. She said "he is told to wear a mask." DO NOT use this company! I scheduled a move several weeks ago, got a confirmation call 2 days ago and then today (moving day) they called and canceled at 3pm. If I say I was pissed off that is an understatement! Top it off the guy hung up on me, read the other reviews, it's a no-brainer!
I arranged a move to which they stated "Absolutely! We can accommodate that day". Well I have sent a couple of emails trying to nail down a confirmed time slot for them to arrive and did not get a response. I call the office the morning of and a very rude person tells me they have been trying to call me and tell me they can not accommodate me today and that my money has been refunded. They very unsympathetically cancelled our move 4 days out. They offered to reschedule us in about 2 weeks. Big moves are not easily rescheduled at the last minute. We had time off of work, etc.. Very disappointed.
I Will never ever hire this company anymore. It was my mistake that i didnot do research on best movers. They almost charged me all extra money. One of the dude who came to move was pushing time by not doing anything and making it overtime. We had to pay for him doing nothing and standing somewhere hiding. Others (2) were good. I should have gone for movers with more ratings. They even charged so much for materials Which doesnt cost that much otherwise. Worst experience ever! Do not recommend. Do not use this company. Three movers for a two bedroom took 6 HOURS. They moved super slow and were smoking a lot. I am missing a few things and the customer services is awful. I am being ignored and ghosted. Cannot get a claim form. DO NOT USE.
CROOKS. Plain and simple. When they arrive with your items, you have no choice but to sign and agree electronically to whatever charge they want to put there. I was crystal clear on their policy for time, and the move was 2.25 hours. I was charged double for the hour on the road. 3.25 total. No mistake. Not industry standards. Not a misunderstanding on my part. Just price gouging. Read all reviews. Worst in the business.
To be kind you need to remember that the lowest price is very often the least satisfying. Our move wasn't that difficult. We moved from a large three bedroom house to a small two bedroom apartment where we will be living until our new home will be ready in September. We packed almost every possible item in moving boxes ourselves, carefully labeled each box as to its' destination, either the apartment our to storage unit.
