**NEVER SHOWED UP!!**. (Portland Oregon area).....I have never written a bad review on any company before but please learn from my horrible experience and never use All My Sons Moving. Had a reservation for a 3 man crew for a Saturday, paid my deposit 2 weeks in advance. Movers were supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am in the morning. Oh boy... what can I say except don't use this company. They put me in such a horrible position when they called and canceled at the exact time they were supposed to arrive. I booked them weeks in advance and they called 3 days before the scheduled move to confirm and give a time for arrival window. On moving day, I was there and ready. I received a call and he said they "didn't have time" and suggested I call uhaul and ask about day laborers. I flipped out. They didn't handle that well either. And they deserved it. Zero stars!! Horrible experience! was Told we need three guys to complete our move, during which only one of the guys was actually working. I have pictures of the "lead" sitting in the truck which of course lead to them going over original quote by several hours. they bet 100 on one of the guys lifting our sleeper coach by himself. Once arriving at our new house the driver decided it would be a brilliant idea to back a 27 ft truck into a 18ft alley way driveway which lead to him hitting our brand new house with the truck. it... read more

The movers were supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am. Then after 12pm. It's 2pm and no movers in sight. We have an elderly person in our household who needs to be in a bed tonight. At this point we can't hire new movers and are going to have to do it ourselves anyway. Which we were trying to avoid. Guess they were too busy to bother with us.

Do not use this company. They called us two hours before they were supposed to move my three bedroom apartment to a three bedroom house and said they were not coming. They told us because of Covid they did not have enough workers. We called them two weeks in advance and booked this time to move and paid a $100 deposit. I am a single mother with an elderly disabled parent living with me and we have no one to move us today. NEVER USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! At first this company seemed promising-rate was around the same as most moving companies but lady that booked me was super sweet and convincing. I told her the square footage of my condo and what exactly I would need moved. She reassured me that definitely with 3 movers and a truck it could be done in 2 hours. She told me their hourly rate and what two hours would cost, but failed to mention they charge for their wrapping materials which is literally just Saran Wrap and some moving blankets. Showed up without a hand truck (dolly), so it took them far too long to load. What kind of movers come without a hand truck??? One of the 3 guys was completely useless. They ended up having to go back to their facility on the trip to the new house, and took a lunch break as well...and charged us for the entire time! Broke a chest of drawers, gouged our headboard in two places, lost refrigerator door brackets, took 2 of my moving blankets. Three guys (none of the sons) showed up 2 hours late and very surly because they already worked 2 jobs. The top guy bitched the whole day about how lousy the company is & he just wanted to unload the trailers and go home. The other 2 guys tried to do what we asked but quickly gave that up and just wanted to leave. They were recent hires, like a week, and didn't really know what to do. Scheduled a move the week before, and they canceled it the day before. They said they were going to "arrange for another company to do it." The "other company" canceled the scheduled move half an hour before they were due to arrive. It's now 2 days after the original moving date and they haven't sent anybody over. Never using this company again.
