The worst move I've ever experienced was All My Sons Moving & Storage in Portland, OR. First, they "forgot" about my reservation and I had to beg the new tenant of my apartment to let me pay for two more days because the movers weren't coming. I did the gracious thing, but they took advantage. Forget moving codes, they literally just threw my unprotected belonging into a truck going half way across the country. Watched one of their drivers throw trash out of the window on purpose yesterday. When I called the company, the guy who answered could not have been ruder. You could not pay me to do business with this company!!!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Only reason I'm not is because I can't and they at least moved my furniture. I was originally quoted a 2- man crew for 155.10 for roughly 3 hours. The Friday before our move, I spoke with Alex to confirm our move for that upcoming Monday. Great! Everything was good. Two days before our scheduled move date I called them to confirm and learned they were not able to fulfill their commitment to provide a truck and helpers. They suggested we move our date which was not possible. We had already closed on our home and the new owners were ready to take possession. Even though I provided a $100 deposit with 6 weeks notice to schedule they did not meet their end of the agreement. I should have believed the other reviews about them cancelling day of. Customer service was great and acted like everything was set to go- I took the day off work and the called to cancel the morning of putting me in a serious bind.

I scheduled a move on December 30th. The company called me to say that they were cancelling all calls for the week due to "icy conditions." It had snowed about an inch the day before and wasn't icy near me, but I suppose they were coming from the mountains or something. We rescheduled for the 4th, me paying my prior landlord a daily pro-rated rate. The company gave me a six-hour window for the movers to arrive. Not sure how this company is still in business. They over charged us by 2 hours, broke our bed frame and horrible customer service when we tried to get a refund on the broken bed. The movers took many smokes break.

Spoke to Laura about getting a quote on moving my sold home to two storage units. I was told that Debra would be at my home at 1:00 pm. When one o'clock passed without anyone showing up. I made a phone call. I spoke to Nathan and was told that Debra wasn't local so there would be no in home quote that it would be virtual. I waited until two o'clock for Debra to call me for a virtual walk through for my quote but still no call. Got a response from this incompetent and negligent company. They offered me chump change after destroying over $2000 worth of property that they failed to wrap and properly pack. These guys don't care about your property and send inexperienced drivers and packers. Use Big Al's. They are great and treat your possessions like they were their own. DO NOT HIRE AMS
