a fiasco with the movers. we hired them to move a freezer that was already on a pallet and rollers... just had to load from a loading dock and move it to another loading dock. they send two kids that didnt know how to use a pallet jack roller. So they sent out for two more kids who arrived and had no more experince. seems like they should send one person with experience with kids when they send them out. i sent them maps to the loading dock but they still just drove got stuck in the middle of nowhere in downtown Portlan... read more
Ive booked with them twice, cancelled both times by Gabriel and had to call multiple times to get my $100 deposit back. don't use them. there are plenty of good moving companies without having to use these guys. I went with All Service Moving and they were great.
Terrible moving men we have ever experienced!!!! They broke my grand mothers vase which meant so much to me. They have not even offered to reimburse us. I saved for one year to buy a white couch and the girl on the Phone told us oh yes, it will be fine. We have never even sat on it.:(.and they got it all dirty and again did not offer to get it cleaned. I could go on and on but I am so upset I don't know what to do?. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Boy do I wish I had read these reviews before using All My Sons. AWFUL customer service experience all around. Did not provide appropriate informed consent about their policies before moving day. Unprofessional and ineffective communication throughout moving day. OVER SEVEN HOURS late to arrive which caused a cascade of other complications. Un-organized the careful packing and labelling I had taken days to complete on my own. Rip you off on the packing materials. No way that they used $90.00 worth on non reusable material with our few possesions.
This morning, I called around in need for some movers to come move two rooms of boxes for me. It is urgent because I have already moved out and the new people need to move in. They charged my card upfront $513 (give or take a few dollars). The two movers arrived. I explained what needed moving. They filled the van but stopped short of filling the truck bed. I've moved several times in the last few years. This company was by far the worst and I'd never use them again. The 2 young guys who showed up to move us were fine and polite. But their boss. Complete unprofessional jerk. The bill was over $800 for 3 hours. We were given the phone to speak with the manager. He overcharged by 30 minutes. The $100 deposit was not applied. Unprofessional and unethical. Their movers left a major damage to my floors, because they dragged a heavy credenza instead of rolling it on a dolly. The original floor installer said it would cost $8100 to fix it. I went through their claim department steps, but they refused to pay for it. They do not back their work with their money. I would go somewhere else. This company is dishonorable.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. RUN.. DO NOT WALK.. RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE MOVING COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!! The two boys that arrived did not look like the typical "movers" that I've experienced when using other moving services.
