quoted one price, then 3 days before moving day come back with minimum double the price originally quoted, plus extra charges on top of it all. glad we had time to cancel, but sure left us in a bind with no movers! I would never recommend such an unprofessional, undependable and lying company as this. now, finding all the terrible stories others went through with these guys, much relieved they got kicked to the curb before ripping us off! good riddence!!
I cannot imagine a worse moving experience than I had using All My Sons and I would strongly advise anyone inquiring whether to hire All My Sons NOT to use them. OVER COST ESTIMATE All My Sons was over the cost estimate by $2000 (almost 40% of the original estimate) and only withdrew some of the charges after I protested. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Roger and his crew stole over $600 worth of DVDs. Wii games and a pair of Air Jordans from my daughter and I. They stole all of her Disney movies that she's had since she was a little girl. They violated us! And just because I didn't file the complaint until after 90 days All my sons would NOT reimburse me for what they stole. I guess I was supposed hurry and unpack so I could look through my things to see if anyone stole from me. Silly me.
Truly horrible experience with this company. I will NEVER recommend anyone use AMS. Thought all was good until I noticed that my brand new bedroom set (bed frame, dresser, chest and nightstand) were all damaged. The bed frame looks as if it was dropped and a piece is literally broken off of it, the other pieces are scratched. My furniture was handled carelessly and I have pieces that are ruined now. These people need to find another career. They are the worst kind of ugly! Over charged me damaged my walls then demanded a cash tip and waited outside my house telling me to go to the ATM.... please do your family a favor and avoid a nightmare call another Moving Company. Be careful of hidden charges! Moving guys were great. On time, took great care with packing and moving. But... Was told if went over two hours would be charged in 15 minute increments - instead had to pay for estimated time to finish. Was told truck, tools and all materials were included - NOT SO - had to pay for tape and shrink wrap at exorbitant rate. Told them we had electric piano and they said fine, which really meant we are charging you extra. Bottom line - $577 quoted move was $800 plus including $258 travel time.... read more
I would not recommend this company. My walls and furniture were damaged during the move. One of the movers took pictures of the damage and I was told someone would call me back to repair the drywall damage. Never got a call back. The whole house had to be repainted. A nightstand was damaged and I was told by a company representative to call corporate. I called corporate and told them about my issues and all they asked me was did I purchase insurance for the move and I will not be receiving repairs/ compensation for the da... read more
DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! They are thieves and liars. It will cost you double the quote and when boxes and or items are missing, they refuse to pay the claim.
