We had Allied Outdoor Solutions out to our home to get an estimate on a brick patio. They spent about 45 mins measuring, going over options, and showing us other projects they had finished. We were given a written quote of $4,000 and told the offer was good until the end of the week. We attempted to contact the company several times to provide a counter offer to them, but they would not respond to email, text, or phone calls. I don't even know where to begin... but I guess I will start with, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. We had planned to use Allied to expand our current patio and cover with carvestone, as well as add a pergola. We signed the contract back in July after meeting with several different companies, reading tons of reviews online, and checking with the BBB. Where do I begin? Working with this company has been a mess. I signed a contract to build an aluminum pergola at the beginning of July. After meeting with the "project manager" about 8 weeks later, we discussed color options and expectations. He admitted to being rather new and inexperienced with these types of projects which didn't instill much confidence. I understand we have all have to start somewhere so I gave it a chance. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! We had planned to have AOS's carve stone product applied to our patio. Unfortunately, a family issue came up and we had to cancel the project. We have now contacted Chad Turner at AOS FOUR times to refund the deposit and he has not. Each time, he has assured me he'll make the refund, but after over a month of phone calls, AOS has not refunded our money. Hired to do our pool deck (carvestone) and to replaster our pool. While the workmanship is very good, the lead managers on each portion of our project were condescending, patronizing and unable to communicate in a timely manner. We were told multiple things about when our project would start, only to have crews show up unannounced and start to demolish our yard. Just received a call from their office and they are cancelling my contract for work to be done. Seems the sales person made a mistake when he come out, looked at the project and quoted us a price and they felt they just could not absorb the additional cost for the project that we were quoted and signed the contract for, so I was offered a $50 gift card (which I declined) and we parted ways. I will not recommend this company.
