I hate to poorly review these folks, but our experience with them was deplorable. We contracted them for an outdoor space to redo a driveway/sidewalks and build a deck. The driveway looks 'ok' with its poorly framed shaped/coloring, and that's all I can say about it (even with a 30k price tag.) The deck was built twice by the same guy (owner is more about pinching pennies on quality than making good on a contract) and then abandoned after I told them I wasn't paying for a shoddy deck built with damaged lumber and poor workma... read more

Mr. Miller, Thank you for your feedback. Despite the loose orientation of details, we have been and always will be willing to offer options for your deck. Due to the confusion introduced by adjustments made to the design onsite, we all agreed, yourself included, to allow our carpenter (we have several) to redo the work. We gave you our word and still stand by it that if that did not go as planned, then we would happy to replace the entire deck. Your decision was to move on and keep what you had. We did not charge you for... read more
Do NOT do business with Allied Outdoor Solutions. The customer service, lack of responsiveness and quality of work is horrible. We signed a contract with them in March 2019 and only a portion of the work has been done. Below summarizes all the issues we've had with this company. -3-25-19 contract signed -7-23-19 city permit approved; was told they would get us on the project schedule ASAP -From that point on I was given the run around on when they would start. Always next week, or late next week. -I always had to initi... read more

Shannon, We apologize for the scheduling issues and any inconvenience we could have prevented. While there were several issues outside of our control, we absolutely could have communicated better throughout the process and understand the frustration we've caused. We're working to get the remaining items closed out. We appreciate your patience.
Fail: Bad Carvestone installation and post warranty support experience Core complaint: No response / dead-end on warranty inquiries. Installation was in November. In April / May decking already showing extreme wear signs (when wet). First signs of a problem: After some Spring rain, the decking looked blotchy (darkening in areas} and showed spiderweb cracks all over. Also, preexisting decking that was re-sealed as part of the contract was also not performing ( i.e. the sealing job was flawed ) Timeline / experience 1... read more
Unfortunate that google does not let you give negative ratings. Run ( do not walk) away from this company as fast as you can. It was a nightmare to deal with. I saw a very colorful Ad in homemag and contacted this company to build a water cascade for my pool. Sales guy was all chatty and painted a good picture. We wanted to do two projects with them (water cascade for our pool and carvestone for pool deck and our patio). Luckily we just signed up for water cascade as we want to see the quality and timeliness of this compan... read more

Mr. Gottumukkala, First of all, we're so very sorry for any inconvenience. This time of year can present scheduling challenges, but we certainly could have done a better job in this case and have recently expanded our scheduling department to help address the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies. Secondly, I do believe that we are completely finished out there at this point. If there is anything further that we can assist you with, please call the office and ask for Chad Turner, 214-770-0205.
To add to my experience the company refused to refund all or part of my deposit, stating that they had spent more than my deposit on the partial tear out they did. Let me explain the tear out which involved removing tiles and grinding down the surface ready for the carvestone. Day 1 :2 people came ,one with a hammer and chisel the other to carry away debris. No Luck the tiles would not budge .Day 2: the guys came back with a machine but that would not work either Day 3: the guys came back with a jack hammer with a very small... read more
Initial impression was great. The sales rep Brent and I agreed that we will do an extension of the patio with foundation drip reroute, carvestone overlay(will talk about this "special" overlay later on in this review) on the existing patio and the new patio to make it look like one continuous floor, a pergola with cover and a kitchen, with no appliances, just masonry (the plumbing of sewage, h/c water and gas to the site of the kitchen was already complete when the house was built, so NO underground plumbing needed), they w... read more

Mr. John, We put you in a terrible position. As you know, we entirely mis-estimated a portion of your project. It was a mistake, and we alerted you of this the moment we knew. We gave you some options. One of which was doing that portion of the project at a "break-even" for the company. You, and understandably so, did not want to move forward with that portion. While we are sorry for the actions of one of our Directors, we do take integrity quite seriously. It is part of our DNA at Allied. We do not mislead our cust... read more
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the customer service. I called a week ago for an appointment and they were booked until May 2nd, which was fine. Then a day or two later they called because they had a change in the schedule, so they could come earlier April 30th. Both my husband and I had to rearrange our work schedules to be there for the appointment. Unfortunately, we had some bad weather last night with tornado sirens, heavy rain, and damaging winds. The gentleman called me and said it was bad from wher... read more

Amanda, We appreciate you reaching out to receive a quote from our company. During this busy time of year we are currently booking our estimates one week out and we always try and move people up when possible. We reached out and let you know of an appointment that came available two days earlier and at that time you were very excited to move sooner. Unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor. Our consultant let you know that due to the tornado sirens and advisement of local officials he needed to seek shelter from t... read more
I decided to go with Allied outdoors for out backyard and front driveway Carve stone project. I also asked them to cover my patio with perforated sheet. Paper work was signed in Mid October 2018 promised for the work to be finished by December15-20. The problem started with follow ups for different project managers to call and show up. Once I heard from the project manager, I figured that person who soled the service to me did not measure the carve stone area properly (off by a few hundred sq ft.) That meant going back and f... read more

Satvik, We appreciate your feedback and your business. It sounds like there was a moderate amount of confusion and misunderstanding. That is entirely on us. As a company, we believe that our initial consultation with our customers is bar-none the best. However, we fell short here. Please accept our sincere apologies. We look forward to any opportunity to work with you in the future.
We contacted this company when we thought we were going to move to another city. They gave us a an estimate, and we decided if we were going to move that we wanted to have a cement patio. Sometime had passed and they continue to contact us. I tried to have another few people come out to lay down some flagstone, but it seem to fall through. When we did not move, we decided to go with the cement patio because of a moisture problem. The crew came out to look at the property, they said they would be in contac... read more

Cheryl, Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience. We do offer both a carved overlay product and stamped concrete. Upon our initial visit our consultant did quote you both options but the contract was ultimately signed with the stamped concrete price listed and notated. Additionally, during our pre-construction meetings the project managers always review the full scope of work and provide options for stamp and color choices. We are not sure where the confusion between products occurred but we will u... read more
