"I've purchased warranties with Squaretrade in the past and never had to use them. It was more peace of mind than anything. However, since I had never had to utilize the warranty, I was somewhat skeptical on how good of a warranty it actually was. Recently though, I had to start a claim on my sons DS. The process was so easy and they gave me a full refund of my purchase price! I had gotten a 2 year warranty on a used DS. "After submitting my claim, I got a response the next morning giving me instructions on how to get my phone replaced and it was simple and painless. Check reimbursement was sent quickly after receipts were submitted. I'm happy with the service and it does what it said it would do."

"I wanted an iPhone for a LONG time but because I have a chronic illness, there was always medical expenses that came first. In June 2010 my husband bought me an iPhone 3GS. I was ecstatic! "We started using SquareTrade in 2006, so when we had a problem in August 2009 on an item with a three-year warranty, we had to deal with VAC. This was a nightmare and we swore we would never deal with the company again. This is still the case and from what we read on the Internet we are not alone in our feelings about VAC! "It was a very smooth and fairly quick process to claim repairs of my iPhone 3G. SquareTrade asked me few questions and directed me to Apple store for repairs. They quickly reimbursed the repair cost after I sent them the repair invoice. I highly recommend buying insurance from SquareTrade for all your electronics."

"I bought a 2 way radio on Ebay that quit working shortly after I recieved it. I had decided to get the Square Trade warranty with my purchase as I planned to the use the radio regularly and the cost was very reasonable. I'm glad I got the coverage, as they quickly sent me all the information and prepaid labels to return it, sent emails all the way through, and refunded the cost of the radio quickly so I could replace it. Well worth the modest cost if a purchase new or used fails. "

"I was a little hesitant about extended warranties, but given the moderate price, I thought I would try it. Just a few months after purchasing a printer on E-bay, I had trouble with it. I tried to resolve the issues myself, but that didn't work. I notified Squaretrade about my problems. Within 1 day , I had a response with some suggestions of what to try to fix the problem.
