My son who is in college 6 hours from me broke his laptop. He needed it repaired quickly so he took it to a local reputable vendor. This warranty reimbursement my son for the repair even though it was not preauthorized.
I broke my glasses and filed a claim. I received a response very quickly and was advised my e-card will be sent to purchase new glasses, i did not receive the e-card and contacted Allstate Protection. Customer service researched and sent a new e-card which I did receive. I appreciate the fast and efficient resolution to the e-card problem. Customer Service actually cared and helped me

the tooth irragator I bought I didn't think would work the two years of the insurance. It lasted 6 months and Allstate Protection Plans honored the claim.
The overall experience was okay. I wish they gave me the option to get a gift card to begin with instead of offering me three options that were not desirable. I was also surprised that the gift card amount did not include the taxes that we paid on the original item.
