After submitting my claim SquareTrade determined that my 4 1/2 year old Vizio TV was not repairable. They offered me a choice of 3 replacement TVs. The unit that I selected was not available. To solve the problem SquareTrade made an exception to standard policy and offered a cash reimbursement. I was very pleased when the reimbursement exceeded my expectation. I will now be able to purchase a TV of my choice and with it another SquareTrade warranty!
In the past I had thought all insurance plans were just scams. Square trade proved me wrong. unlike extended warranties this is truly an insurance you can trust. So glad they were there for me again. We got the grandkids cell phones and,well, they are still kids and things happen SquareTrade was there to back us up. Received our determination and the issues were settled in less than 4 days.
Square trade still honored my claim even though I was charged the incorrect amount for the SquareTrade warranty of the item when I purchased the TV from target

The convection fan in our LG slide in electric range stopped working. Additionally, there had been intermittent screen/function freezes with the touch screen display. Square Trade's online chat was brief and to the point- call and speak with an agent. The usual phone wait was not overly long, but when I was connected to Monique, she quickly guided me thru steps to assess the problems.
