It gave it up 3 years into the 4 year warranty. went to the web site filled in a very simple entry immediately was given 3 great alternatives on how to claim. When I bough another shredder I asked for the Square Trade extension and purchase it again as a result of the excellent experience on the first purchase. Highly recommended.
