Insured my Sylvania portable DVD player with them. Bought the player in July and by November the charging port was no longer able to receive the charger. Notified Sylvania of the defect and they promptly replied that it was past the 90 warranty period. Contacted Square Trade and they efficiently dealt with the problem issuing a refund. Check was received within a ten days of making the claim. Will use Square Trade again!!
For the most part yes they did. I expected the full purchase price for the item because it was only 90 days old and I had a 2-year plan. They adjusted the purchase and paid me about 75% of what I had paid for the machine. Better than a stick in the eye I guess.
