I was able to get the claim filed and the unit shipped off, fixed and returned in about 2 weeks. Glad I bought the warranty on my laptop! Didn't think I'd need it so soon, but happy to have spent the little bit extra for that peace of mind.
I had a mishap that SquareTrade took care of immediately. When it happened again they helped me just as promptly. Well worth the price.
