I purchased a protection plan for my box fan and was able to simply use the protection plan when it stopped working. It was easy to navigate and was able to receive a refund for the amount paid due to availability issues.
I thought it was going to be complicated but it was easy to do.
I had Allstate Protection Plans through Costco when I brought my Samsung refrigerator. I had a great experience with them because my ice maker did break like 3 times and they sent a repair person to come switch it out. After already replacing the ice maker 3 times, it broke again a year later so they just sent me a check to get a new refrigerator.

Didn't give me the full value of the item. Sent me an email saying I didnt upload required photos even though I did! Took a long time to get a responses. By the time I bought the item and the protection plan I will only really be getting like 40 bucks back. Not worth all the hassle.
i’ve had to call several times to get an answer. The last gentleman said since my HDM ports had gone out on my TV. They would give me another TV. I realize my TV is already three years old, but I would rather stick with the brand that I have the choices they gave me were not TVs that I want I wrote and asked if I could have more choices or just a cash settlement and I will purchase my own TV, but I have not heard back.
