InterTech Maintenance Group came out for the hot water heater that was not working. The guy was actually early, so that made it nice. He had to get me a whole new hot water heater. We like American Home Shield. They were absolutely great. They took care of it quickly and it wasn't too expensive with the warranty.
The claim process was easy. AHS kept us in the look while the contractor was being notified, and a schedule of how soon the contractor would be out to repair our washing machine. The contractor was professional, courteous, and on time. He did a great job.
I had a couple of outlets that needed to be changed. The technician was good and knowledgeable. Everything went well. I like American Home Shield a lot. They're really good. Everything is good right now.
I'm glad that I have American Home Shield. They've treated me fine in the years I've been with them. I called them when my lights were going mysteriously dim and bright on their own and the contractor they sent out was a very nice guy and very smart. It's all fixed now.
I had an electrical issue. I was having a problem with a socket. I submitted a claim online with AHS and the website is good. Everything went fine. It's been a good experience with American Home Shield.
My refrigerator stopped working and the technician came out. He noted all the parts that needed to be put on the refrigerator, and he ordered those. It took about a week longer than what he said for all of them to come in, ‘cause it was three separate parts. Then I had to schedule it and that took another week. We love American Home Shield. We recommend them because it is the best safety net you can have for a house. When filing claims, we either make a phone call or hop online and give the information on the website. We usually have someone out within 24 to 48 hours. We never had a problem with having to wait. The only problem we have, and this isn't related to American Home Shield is, due to COVID, the parts that they're needing for things aren't being timely because they're coming from China. We had a refrigerator issue. The water wouldn't shut off. I wanted a particular vendor instead of the first one that AHS sent. So I called the company and the contractor came rather quickly. He saw that we needed a part ordered and then when the part came in, he came back and installed it. He only had to come once, except the second time, to put in the new part and everything is working great. We've had him once before when we had a dishwasher issue. The heating element of my microwave went out. I placed the claim with American Home Shield and a serviceman came out, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. It took about a week to get it in. The contractor was good. AHS is the best thing since sliced bread.
