My interaction with the sales department, prior to making the decision to purchase the American Home Shield warranty oh, those interactions were good and mostly pain-free. However, all of the interactions with the American Home Shield customer service department, to include calling in to report a new event / claim, all of those interactions were tainted with a slight yet obvious language barrier because American Home Shield evidently uses an overseas call center for their customer service department.
